I can't say enough about my experience with Dr.Bishop! She was very nice and pleasant and explained everything to my family right away, would definitely recommend!!

Dr. Bishop has repaired both of my rotator cuffs and a torn right bicep. First time about 17 years ago. Second one 13 years ago. Post op was much better than I expected. Years later, still going strong. Thanks! Old Guy, Fred

In 2012 I had an MRI which showed a partial rotator cuff tear, I had seen two surgeons prior to seeing Dr. Bishop in late 2013. She was recommended to my by my Occupational Therapist who saw her and who treats her patients after shoulder surgery. The first two surgeons I saw did not instill confidence in me. As a wheelchair user, my shoulder and arms are in constant motion and under a lot of stress. Those surgeons made my situation see like no big deal. Dr Bishop listened to me, understood my concerns and addressed my needs on the first visit. I was so impressed with her and her staff that I scheduled surgery THAT DAY. Fast forward to surgery and post surgery. Apparently my shoulder had progressed to a full-thickness tear over the 1 plus year since the original tear and was quite bad, Dr. Bishop said that most surgeons would walk away from such a daunting repair, but she finished the repair and feels it should serve me well in the future. Again, her compassion and attention were great… before and after surgery. I needed some special equipment while in the hospital and at home, she and her staff took care of everything. She spent time with me after the surgery, answered all of my and my partner's questions thoroughly. She even took pictures of the shoulder inside and gave them to me with full explanation as to what was what. I am now 6 wks post surgery, very little pain whatsoever. I start therapy next week, time will tell as to how well my shoulder will function, but I'm very confident that Dr. Bishop did the best job of any surgeon. I have met several of her patients while in the hospital and in her office, nothing but glowing reports.

I have had three different surgeries performed by Dr.Bishop in the past 16 months. The last surgery was for a tear in my left distal bicep tendon,it was torn 95% off the bone. She explained a few options I had and it was up to me whichever one I chose.I chose to have surgery because I'm active and enjoy lifting weights,if I had not chose surgery I thought it would eventually tear off the bone.She took ample time going over the procedure,risk and recovery of this operation. She spoke with me prior to surgery and spoke to my wife after surgery and her nurses called me check up on me once at home. I just had latajet surgery a week ago with Dr, Bishop. I've had a great experience with her so far, and during my stay at the hospital, my parents and I talked to her a total of five times. Maybe she had poor beside manner in the past, but she seems to have fixed that problem. I'd definitely recommend her!
