Dr. Julie Tahli Chen, MD

Dr. Chen is so thorough. She will get to the root of your issues. She is not a doctor that just nods their head & writes a prescription, she offers real solutions. She is the absolutely the BEST doctor I’ve ever worked with. And the results are amazing, if you do as she suggests. And unfortunately I’ve been exposed to many doctors so I’m speaking from experience. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Chen!

I have been seeing Dr. Julie Chen for almost 2 years. I have suffered from relentless fatigue that left me couch bound and unemployed. Dr. Chen is straight forward, extremely smart, and process oriented. Although, I had previously tested negative for Lyme, she re-tested me and finally figured it out. All my other doctors would try one or two things and then give up. Dr. Chen also "believes" me when I tell her how badly I feel. She actually cares and wants me to get better. I think this is because in her past life, she also suffered from some debilitating illnesses. I questioned Dr. Chen about the accuracy about the one positive Lyme result. Her response was scientific and made sense. If you want a doctor that wants you to feel better, she is the one to go to. Yes, I agree with other reviews that she talks fast, but on the flip side, I have never waited more than 3 minutes for an appointment. She has to talk fast to keep all her patients on schedule. Otherwise, they would all… complain about the wait time.

Dr. Julie Chen takes any symptom and turns it into a reason to diagnoses Lyme disease. She doesn't listen, speaks and an ultra rapid pace, is too busy prescribing many supplements, and is an alarmist. Don't go

I've been seeing Dr. Julie for several years. She is incredibly smart. She will figure out problems that have evaded other doctors. She looks at the whole person, provides advice, direction and information. IF you chose to follow her plan, you will see positive results. IF you chose not to, that's your choice but you won't see positive progress or results - don't blame her. She is one of the only doctors I've ever seen that actually listens to you, gives you a full appointment and makes adjustments to your treatment plan as needed. She is fast and sometimes seems harsh, but the truth is she is just honest and to the point. She doesn't sugarcoat. I appreciate that. I want a doctor who is honest and helpful - even when the truth stings a bit. I'm surprised by the reviews that say she isn't prompt. This is so so far from true. She is on the money with time management. She is the only doctor I've never had to wait more than 5-10 minutes max for. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. And… as for the ease of appointments - she's booked... because she's good!!! I highly recommend her. Without reservation.

Terrible, cannot even remember treatments that she perscribed

Dr. Julie Chen is one of the best Physicians I have ever known. I have been a Critical Care Nurse working in a hospital for 36 years. I know Physicians. She has endless passion for helping patients improve their quality of life by decreasing their pain. Her knowledge is endless. She is constantly learning to help her patients. I have been her patient for 4 years. Before I found Dr. Chen, the doctors I went to didn't even believe I had pain. If they can't see something, it's not there. Dr. Chen listens to you every appointment and then adjusts your treatment plan according to your symptoms. Yes, she has a holistic approach. To get better, the patient must be totally engaged. There are no magic pills. I will be the first to admit that it is not easy, but it works. You will work hard to eat clean and exercise. Just do it. Her office runs like clock work. I have never waited more that 5 minutes for my appointment. If you want to get better, become a patient of Dr. Chen's.

Dr. Chen has a very aggressive style that can be overwhelmingly negative. She asks many questions in a rapid-fire way. If you are unable to answer immediately, she threatens you by saying you have to hurry up to get to all the questions answered in the allotted time. If you have a complex case and want a compassionate, patient physician , seek help elsewhere. For such cases, she deserves a zero rating.

I don't know where I'd be without all of Dr. Chen's medical advisement. Before I started seeing her, life was non-existent for me given the various medical conditions I live with. Everything she's recommended to me and I've followed through on has helped and is currently keeping me off of harmful medications that would compromise other illnesses further. I can now lead a functional, full life with my illnesses, whereas before I could not. She's helping me to learn the skills to manage and maintain my health long-term. What I love about her is that she is direct, VERY thorough (moreso than my other doctors), positive, and is very enthusiastic in helping you achieve your goals for better health for life. She has great bedside manner, she addresses concerns, and she works with you. Incredibly happy under her care- she's an excellent Doctor.

Absolutely love Dr. Chen. She looks at you and your health with a complete and thorough assessment. She utilizes frequent lab work to assess your health with every visit then provides a customized supplement plan that is evaluated every month. The supplement plan works with your body and your symptoms to relieve and minimize any issues you're experiencing. The cupping and heat therapy works wonders.
