Dr. Julie Ann Ciardullo, MD

We had to wait a month for an appt for my mom. Both my brother and I took time off from work. On the day of the appointment, I drove an hour to meet my mom only to have the doctor’s office call me an hour before the appt to cancel. The excuse was that the doctor was on call and had to go in to the hospital! I asked the receptionist if she was kidding? Why wouldn’t you call me sooner? Also why would you have office hours if you are on call? The reception put me on hold then came back and hung up on me! This practice is a joke. They have no regard for their patient’s time. They are greedy and self serving. They have the nerve to call me two hours later saying that in need to reschedule. Get a clue! We will not be back and also don't recommend this practice to anyone!

Dr. Ciardullo is an exceptional doctor. She truly cares about her patients and their families. She has known my wife for 3 years now even though she is not her primary neurologist. As my second opinion, I found her to be very compassionate and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her, I am very grateful for her insights and will be continuing my wife's medical journey with Dr. Ciardullo.

My mom and I first met Dr.Ciardullo not even a year ago when we were looking for a second opinion regarding memory issues and possible reasons for it. From the first moment we were in her office we were made to feel comfortable. Dr. Ciardullo was patient, taking her time to be extremely thorough in her initial exam. She explained everything she was doing. Since that first meeting, my mom has had proper neurological testing, has received a diagnosis as best as can be reached. Over time my mom has had multiple hospitalizations (not dementia related) and Dr. Ciardullo has made herself available to any of the drs caring for my mom. She returns calls in a very timely and fair time frame. I know I can ask any question and will get a detailed answer every time. My mom has dealt with many drs and Dr. Ciardullo is as the top of our favorites list! I would recommend her to anyone needing a neurologist!

I began taking my Aunt who is suffering with alzheimer's & dimentia to see Dr Julie Ciardullo three years ago. Dr Ciardullo has been very caring and informative as my Aunt experiences all of the degenerative difficulties associated with this disease. Dr Ciardullo is very present and patient during office visits. When problems or concerns arise outside of office visits she is easily reachable, whether it is through the Mount Sinai portal or by phone, if she doesn't answer she will return your call shortly. These attributes are extremely important to me. These are some of the qualities that were not shared by my Aunts previous neurologist, who always seemed preoccupied during office visits including taking phone calls and as far as availability she waa completely unreachable by phone or email without an appointment. Dr Ciardullo in addition to her professionalism she also has a very warm and caring personality.

Dr. Ciardullo is smart, caring, compassionate, available and kind. She has been absolutely terrific to my 97-year-old father, giving time and thought to his situation and helping family members deal with issues. We feel lucky to be in her capable hands.

Dr. Ciardullo has been a wonderful physician for us. My husband has LBD and Dr. Ciardullo has been thorough, responsive and supportive of both my husband and me. I couldn't ask for a better professional to help us navigate through this difficult time.

My husband was diagnosed with LBD about 18 months ago. We were referred to Julie Ciardullo at Mt Sinai, who was considered to be one of the experts on that disease. She has not disappointed. She is caring, direct, listens, and takes a personal interest in both of us..She is supportive, accessible, and will actually return emails and phone calls, and sometimes just calls to check in...unheard of in today's medical world.

I would rate dr.Ciardullo a 10,she is straight to the point,make the patient feel relax and comfortable to relate. Dr.Ciardullo go out of her way to provide information thats helpful for the patient. I would recommend Dr. Julie Ciradullo to friends and family

Dr. Ciardullo is so very unique in her caring for her patients and, more importantly to me, their caregiver. She checks in with me regularly via phone and email to see how we are both doing and is very receptive to me being involved in his plan of care. She spends as much time as I need when discussing my husband and is very respectful. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Ciardullo is wonderful. Never have I had an experience with a doctor who takes such an interest in my husbands' well being. Not only is she very communicative, but she also listens to our concerns. I am very impressed with her determination and overall knowledge of her field.
