Julie Digiovanni, PA-C

Julie DiGiovanni, PA-C, is an board certified advanced practice provider in the departments of surgical and gynecologic oncology at WMCC.
DiGiovanni earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University and a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ.
From an early age, DiGiovanni wanted to become a physician assistant. She was drawn by the combination of having enough independence to make critical medical decisions and still have time to personally connect with the patient. The seed to have a career in oncology was planted when her grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. It became DiGiovanni’s job to take her to and from appointments the summer of her senior year in high school. Her grandmother’s physician assistant took care of her as if she were part of their family. From that experience, she knew that being a PA was how she wanted to make her mark in the medical field. DiGiovanni became interested in …women’s health, surgery, and oncology. Gynecologic oncology became the perfect fit, as she was able to blend her interests.
DiGiovanni’s favorite part of her job is helping patients through critical times in their lives, no matter what path their journey takes. She wants to be there to support her patients through every challenge they face.
