Stay away, just as so many reviews say!!!!

My first appointment with Dr. Foote I left feeling belittled. I had just had part of my thyroid removed due to a cancerous tumor. I am more natural minded, and asked her what the most natural thyroid medication would be. She told me there is absolutely no such thing as a natural thyroid medication. With more research I have found that she didn’t tell me the truth. Some thyroid medication options/brands are more natural in their ingredients. This was such a big deal to me, and she didn’t listen to my concerns. On my 3rd or 4rd visit she was wearing a pin on her outfit that said “vaccines cause adults”. Now I’m not anti vaccine, but I am intelligent enough to know that some people medically can’t have vaccines because they are allergic and can die if they get vaccinated. It seemed like such a childish pin to wear around as a professional. That was the last time I ever visited her office, and I will always warn people that she is the kind of doctor who doesn’t listen to your worries, who… will make you feel belittled, and doesn’t talk to you with the respect that a patient wants.

She is an authoritarian and you must comply and never question her or she will refuse to see you. I had a pheochromocytoma for 2 years while under her care. This is an endocrinologist's forte. She SHOULD have diagnosed this illness right away but instead, She sent me to ear doctors and heart doctors and psychiatrists, REALLY! I finally found an internal medicine specialist that listened to me and ran test and helped to diagnosed my pheochromocytoma which had become an almost 6 inch tumor by this time. This is a life threatening illness especially when it is on the adrenal gland and a life threatening surgery when it has become so big, not to mention the horrendous symptoms that i was forced to endure and suffer with for 2 YEARS because of her! My new endocrinologist, the surgeons that did the surgery on my pheochromocytoma, and other doctors I had to see for this illness, are all amazed that another endocrinologist failed to diagnose this illness, especially since this is an… endocrinologist's forte! Mrs . Foots was far more interested in her own authoritarianism and her own ideas than actually listening to her patients. Her bedside manner is atrocious, especially if you disagree with her ideas, because she knows it all, don't you know. Well you have proven you know squat Mrs. Foote. Kudos to you and job well done on diagnosing an illness in your chosen professional field!!

Wow... I read a few of the other reviews before writing mine and couldn't disagree more. She's very professional, thorough and kind. She listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. Some complained about her appearance. Really?? She looked 100% the part and is beautiful to boot! I'm going to continue to allow her to assist me with my ailments and enjoy every moment of it... Jon J.

I saw this doctor four times. She is the authoritarian and you must comply and never question her. I didn't find her manner or appearance professional.

Excellent Doctor and well run clinic!

I found Dr. Foote to be very caring and helpful. She spent more time with me than was scheduled in the appointment. Her message was difficult to hear, but my disease is not her fault.

Dr Foote is too busy for new clients so U see her OA. She doesn't even read the info card I fill out about how I'm feeling. She doesn't believe my tiredness or hair loss are due to my thyroid problem (I am in good health in my early 30's). She seem annoyed every time I ask a question. Overall, I feel very uncomfortable with her.

I saw Dr Foote twice. I didn't have the awful, rude, abrasive experiences with her as the rest did. I think she's just the way she is. She discovered that I have Hashimotos disease when every other Dr for 5 years told me my thyroid was perfectly normal when I knew it was not. But refused to treat my symptoms because my levels were all normal. She gave me the lowest dose of Levothyroxine to "shrink" my thyroid. Also refused to even consider me a candidate for an insulin pump ( Type 1 for 26 years) but MAYBE she'd consider a continuous glucose monitor. Definitely a power trip issue with her and I knew it wouldn't work out with her. She was also very angry I went elsewhere for my thyroid issue. She may be the right Dr for some but I knew not for me. She loves the control.
