Dr. Julie Kristen Gunther, MD

I visited Dr. Julie Gunther to remove a Lipoma growing below my lower eyelid. Dr. Gunther handled this delicate procedure with a gentleness and precision that was unmatched in my experience. There was no pain or swelling and only a slight but expected bruising from the tiny incision. Dr. Gunther’s nearly invisible micro stiches were deeply appreciated – no one wants Frankenstein tracks on their face. Clearly Dr. Gunther is knowledgeable about modern procedures and practices and equally important, she listens intently to your description of what ails you; spending as much time as required to determine the solution. She has excellent one on one ‘bed-side-manner‘. Dr. Gunther explains and teaches you about the procedure needed to correct the issue.

We are very happy with her. Dr Julie has such the passion for her patients that are so blessed to know her. We met a lot of her patients. Some have insurance. But they think it's worth to pay $65 per month for the good quality care and preventive care for their health. Dr Julie spends time listening to you, not just your specific problem, she wants to know the overall of your being. She shares her knowledge of the health issues with you. She rather that you are being educated than just blindly take her prescription. Since we do not have insurance, she gives us advice for joining the Health Sharing program to cover the catastrophic expenses. She and her staff do above and beyond to make sure we go to the cheapest places for x-ray, MRI, or blood test, etc. She and her staff help us cut cost on medicine as well. If our health care system follows her example, the society is much healthier because of her early prevention and detection. You would not delay to see doctors or afraid to go… because you are the member of her clinic and you have the right and privilege to see her anytime you want. You would be health conscience because you receive the information and knowledge for your trusted doctor. Just a FYI....She did not pay me to say this nice thing of her. I just love to tell a lot of my friends about her. I want to be the advocate for sparkMD. I think our medical health reform need to use this as the role model.

Caring and compassionate.

I have never had a better experience with a physician. Dr. Gunther is kind, attentive, knowledgeable, thorough and a wonderful communicator. She evaluated my medications and made suggestions to make them more affordable and effective. It is worth every penny to receive care from this exceptional boutique doctor. She spent an hour with me!

It's like visiting with a long time friend. She is genuine, thorough and spends time with you. Great lady, great Doctor.
