Dr. Julie Lindsey Iacono, MD

My mom is in a long term care facility. Dr. Iacono has been treating her for a number of years, through the different stages of dementia. She takes the time to talk to her aides and nurses before changing medication. She has kept my mother at low doses and has even been able to discontinue some of her medications. She makes sure there are not medical conditions causing problems before adding more mind altering medications. She takes the time to meet with me or calls me during difficult times. We have been lucky to have her a part of mom's medical team.

My Mom is in a nursing home and Dr Iacono saw her because of some aggressive outbursts. Most recently it was due to a UTI, but she needed her medication changed. Dr Iacono called me and talked to me about it for over 20 minutes. She really loves her patients and gives personal attention to them. I am amazed at her kindness, thoroughness and time spent. Rare these days!
