initially sought therapy with Julie for help managing my OCD and C-PTSD. Early on, our sessions seemed productive, and I appreciated her approach. However, as my struggles intensified, I began to feel like Julie wasn’t able to help me manage my OCD effectively. Despite knowing how severely I was struggling, she eventually told me I needed to get my medication sorted out before we could continue therapy. This felt like a dismissal of my ongoing difficulties, especially considering that medication takes weeks or months to take effect, and I was in desperate need of support in the meantime. I understand the role of medication, but I was hoping for more therapeutic guidance while navigating this challenging period. Unfortunately, this left me feeling unsupported at a time when I really needed help.
