Dr. Julie Renee Whetstone, MD

No knowledge of my medication and its dosing and her lack of care about side effects. Ignored requests for refills with no communication to me that she was not going to refill. Drug requires tapering if discontinued - I suffered the side effects for months trying to regulate dosing of hormones. She did not seem to care and blamed the insurance company, it was not their fault and they authorized the medication once she finally submitted. No apology or concern. would not admit her error/fault.

Dr. Whetstone is a excellent diagnostician and has communication skills. I have been impressed with her comprehensive knowledge.

Would not recommend !

My visit went fine, but when I called for a Rx refill, the recording says it will be completed in 3 days. I waited 30 days to get a simple refill!! My pharmacy faxed an order over and over. I called them twice and left messages and asked them to at least call me and explain why they would not renew my Rx. This was for migraine medicine that I have taken for decades. I explained that I was completely out and I absolutely need these meds to treat my migraines. Not even a phone call. Finally after 30 days I get a refill with no phone call or explanation. It is the worst service I have ever gotten at a Dr. office.

She made me feel like I matterd

I was very rushed by this doctor, and who also refused to view piles of records I came with to be prepared for this appointment which I waited weeks for. Also, she told me that her staff should have informed me that she does not hand out certain medications. My diagnosis was seemingly pushed aside as she inserted her own thoughts into my condition. Mind you it has been in existence for decades as well as the meds I was on which stayed consistent. Horrible service, no listening skills, and extremely snobbish for such a young doctor.
