Dr. Julietta Dina Rubin, MD

I saw Dr. Rubin today for the first time and was extremely impressed with her. She was thorough, a great listener, and not for one second did I feel rushed like with most other doctors. I highly recommend her.

Dr Rubin has been my PCP for the past year and I find her to be extremely knowledgeable, nonjugemental, and compassionate. She is clear about her thought process and goals for my health which I appreciate very much.

Dr. Rubin is simply the BEST! She is very kind, thorough, personable and answered all my questions with patience and empathy. I’ve seen a few different doctors in NYC and haven’t felt as comfortable and taken care of until I had my appointment with Dr. Rubin. She is by far my favorite doctor and I would highly recommend her!

Her communication skills are weak; just jots down to the computer without even looking at you, but the main issue is that she does not address your medical problem. Just wasted my time and will not go again.

I’m a working mother so getting to a doctor’s appointment in the middle of the day is a challenge, to say the least. I had to arrange for someone to pick my child up from school, moved three meetings, and spent $30 one way for cab fare to get to Ms Rubin’s office. I was 15 min late for my appointment. What happened? I was told by her office manager, after she conferred with Ms. Rubin, that she wouldn’t see me and I would need to reschedule. Note to Mt Sinai: if you have a provider who has no grace period - you should let people know that up front so we can decide if that’s the right practice for us. Don’t waste your time with someone who has zero bedside manner; care and strict office policies that don’t take life into consideration. The office manager didn’t even have the decency to explain Ms. Rubin’s response to me (probably because she was embarrassed). I had to ask what was going on; they just assumed that I would actually want to reschedule. Complete unprofessional joke.
