Dr. Juliette Kirstin Gittinger, DO

I first saw Dr. Gittinger in 2016. I have never had a problem getting thru to the office and everyone there has always been great to work with. Dr.Gittinger is very knowledgeable, professional, kind, and considerate. I highly recommend her. I usually call right at opening time and get there before my appointment time. I don't understand the complaints on the reviews as I have never had any. I suppose some people wouldn't be happy counting money on halves. Thank you Dr. G and staff for all that you do and have done for me.

Office phones seem to be off the hook and ring busy frequently so you can’t get through. Diagnostic test are not reported unless the patient calls in for results.

I made an appointment to be seen at this office and asked several times prior to my appointment if they accepted my insurance..They assured me that they did..Once I arrived at the office, I filled out all of my paperwork and was placed in the examination room..Once the doctor came in, I was told that the did not accept my insurance..Are you kidding me?? I called out of work for this appointment and was not seen, even when I offered to pay out of pocket..I needed certain pre-op testing done for an upcoming surgery..Now I have to reschedule my surgery..This is such a huge inconvenience and also wasted money on car service to get to this appointment for nothing..What a waste of time! While the staff was very friendly and sweet and tried to remedy the situation by giving me other doctors who accept my insurance, the office needs to improve the way they verify if you are covered or not PRIOR to the visit..Extremely unsatisfied with this practice..Patients beware!!

She's like one of my many sisters. She's not only my Dr. but my husband and siblings as well. I drive the 20 miles to see her since her move to Tarpon Springs.

I really love Dr Gittinger and her staff. They are so friendly and welcoming. The wait is a little longer to get back because there is 1 doctor, but I like the fact that there is 1 doctor and she really knows her patients. She takes her time to listen. I never feel rushed. She’s even called me at home before when she was reviewing my file after I met with her. Her staff is so kind. Highly recommend this office if you are looking for personalized care.

It takes me, on average, 50 times to get through when I call. This is no exaggeration. When I finally get an appointment, I wait 45 minutes past the scheduled time. I'm on a stimulant (controlled substance) and she will refuse to give me my medication before the required 3 month follow up appointment. She has no personality, doesn't know the information she should (despite looking at my chart) and seems to be an old-school doctor that is not up-to-date on the newer medical models

I have been a patient of hers for almost 10 years. For 10 years I have looked for something to complaint about to no avail EXCEPT SHE TAKES SUNDAY OFF

I have been a patient of Dr. Gittinger's for about 10 years. I love the relationship I have with her, she takes her time with each patient and remembers me even when I haven't seen her for a year. I love that her mom helps her out in the office - her mom is the sweetest lady and always remembers me too. The practice has a family feel and I feel at home as soon as I walk through the door. I have never been kept waiting more than about 15 minutes. I would never see another doctor!

The staff is extremely unprofessional talking about patients while they are standing there. They lie over the phone about faxing out patient records and overall are very frustrating to deal with.

Dr Gittinger is simply the best doctor I've ever had! (I'm 54). She is genuine, patient, kind, knowledgeable, and always responsive to my concerns. I am so fortunate to have finally found a general practice doctor I LOVE! Thanks Dr Gittinger!
