Dr. Julio Cesar Sanchez

If you go to the office of Dr. Sanchez expect to have your pockets cleaned out as well as your teeth. Went to them for my yearly cleaning and they wanted to do over $240 worth of unneeded procedures saying that it was over a year since my last visit. They only wanted to do $80 in procedures on my wife such as taking photos of her teeth. Since my wife and I went to Dr, Sanchez the same day last time. a good question would be why would I need extra services and not her? It is about time for a dentist to do a cleaning or a filling without trying to clean out the patient's pockets.

Unfortunately I was unable to meet the dentist. The office staff is awful. Had an appointment, drove 45 min to the office; was told it was cancelled. They were all speaking Spanish in front of me, about me, and I knew what they were saying. When I called them out on this; they said it wasn’t about me, and they apologized. They rescheduled me for two days later, on a Friday. It was an emergent appointment, by the way, and the only place that was accepting new patients that was also covered by my insurance. This place is a joke. They waited until two hours before my appointment to call me and say they were cancelling. The reason they gave me, “you said you wouldn’t come here if it wasn’t the only place insurance covered” well, they were right, NO ONE SHOULD GO HERE. They are beyond rude, making faces, rolling eyes, speaking a different language, not considerate at all. Knowing very well that they were the only place I could go to, In an emergency situation, they cancel on Friday… late morning. So I can’t get another appointment anywhere else, even if it’s further away. Makes me wonder if the dentists that work here know what their staff is doing to their business and name as a practice. I would never recommend anyone to this place. I have report them to my insurance company; in hopes they are removed from their provider list; I plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau as well. Horrible.

I went to the dentist because i had an abcessed tooth that needed to be removed. I went back into the room and i had explained to the lady how much pain i was in (i can't remember her name but she had short dirty blonde hair, in her 40s , and she said okay and was reviewing my Xrays and she came back and said i have 4 cavaties that need to be filled. I explained to her that my insurance only covers 3 fillings per year and we could do just those. She said well.... you can get the 2 fillings and the extraction today and come back for the other 2 next time. i said okay lets do that. She walked away then came back 5 minuets later to tell me that the doctor doesn't seperate the treatments and she said that i HAVE to get all 4 FILLINGS and tooth extraction TODAY or they won't treat me and had to leave!!!!!!!!!!! Which was very upsetting considering the only money in my wallet was diaper&formula money for my son!! But my tooth was infected and it had to be done so i agreed. So i went out to… the car grabbed my wallet and explained to my mom about the situation and the employee must of herd my mother say that i should call my insurance company after i left there , because soon as i got back there again she got in my face and said " IF YOU ARE GOING TO CALL THE INSURANCE COMPANY YOU ARE GOING TO CALL THEM HERE SO WE CAN TALK TO THEM TOGETHER!!!!!" and proceeded to keep questioning me about what i was going to say to them... i didn't want to argue with her so i just said that i had no clue what she was even talking about. I suspect something truly fishy is going on at the dentist office. And i refuse to go back there ever again!!!!

Very unprofessional.

Julio Sanchez literally destroyed my life when he put removable implants. The last time I was in his office he screamed at me so loud you could hear him in the parking lot. When I had exrays done at another dentists office, it showed the implants were so out of alignment that two of them would have to be removed and replaced. I could never wear the lower partial he made.

Dr Sanchez crowned my two front teeth with theeth that were much smaller in size than the originals. This has changed the whole dynamics of my mouth. I'm finding a different dentist

Dr. Sanchez is a fantastic dentist. He really cares about the patient and listens to the patient. I believe he is the best dentist in Ocala. I will recommend him to others. His whole staff is very caring. He is the best dentist I have ever been to. I am grateful he is here.

He explained and told me all my options regarding my hurting and messed up tooth. He also discussed, at length with my husband, his tooth issues. Easy to talk to and honest!
