Dr. June M Blanco, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Blanco for over 14 years. When I first started seeing her, she was very thorough with checkups, especially physicals. For the past4 years, I have seen a significant change in her approach. She barely dos anything and feels like she is checking a box. Physicals are a joke. Extremely disappointed!

Dr. Blanco is always on time for her appointments, she is efficient, she is caring and kind, she covers all of the bases during my yearly physicals and she addresses every concern that I have. She is the doctor to all of my immediately family members in the area. She is the best doctor that I have ever had.

I know I'm in good hands with Dr. Blanco. I have multiple dx's and she's on top of all of them. She's referred me to great specialist and she stays on top of everything. She gives me plenty of time during visits and always makes me feel like I'm her priority. I don't know where the negatives reviews are coming from, but I've had her as my PCP for over 10 years and couldn't imagine dealing with some of my medical issues without her. The office staff is great, friendly and professional.

Dr. Blanco does not take the appropriate time with her patients and is very judgmental.

I called Dr. Blanco's office to make an appointment for a physical. When the receptionist asked me if I had seen her before I said yes --she then asked how long had it been. My response was about 5 years. She said, ahhhh, i don't think she will take you as a patient. Needless to say, I was shocked! I said, what? Thinking that I misheard what she said. She said, I need to ask the Dr. before making your appointment. Later on that afternoon the receptionist called me back and said that she wouldn't take me back -- I couldn't believe it. I wish they would have notified me that she didn't want me as a patient and I wouldnt have listed her as my PCP. How cocky! The old doctors would never done that. I am pretty healthy and I'm thankful for that and didn't need her in those years. Maybe I shouldn't have waited 5 years to go for a physical but I did. I'm shocked that a UMass Memorial doctor did this. Wish someone would explain why a doctor would do this to a patient. There was… never was any issue between me and doctor. I've only seen her a couple of times. I've told several people about this and NO ONE can believe that she wouldn't take me. It's all about the almighty buck right Dr. Blanco? No patient visits -- no money. I gave her a 1 star only because I can't post this without selecting at least 1.

have been a patient of Dr. Blanco's for years now. She is very a great diagnostician and will refer out as needed. Have recommended friends to her practice as well as my husband and we have all had very positive experiences.

I have moved around quite a bit and have had several doctors. I have had an obscure illness that went misdiagnosed as depression for years until Dr. Blanco ran further tests and found the real issue. I can not say enough great things about her.

I decided I needed a primary care physician four or five years ago and liked her age, education, credentials, and hospital affiliations. Fortunately, I am quite healthy (except for my bad habit of smoking about which she always lectures me - but in a nice way). I have found her very thorough and responsive. She listens carefully and is A#1 in my book.

Not a very friendly Doctor. When you ask questions, she answers in almost a condensending manner. When I go to a Dr. I expect someone to be open and friendly, and easy to converse with. Not this Dr.

I was with this doctor for five years. At intake, I asked her to monitor a chronic condition. I often reminded her to do this at yearly exams. When the condition became severe, she asked me if I knew I had this condition. Insulting! She also failed to diagnose a disease from a collection of symptoms, and asked if I was a hypochondriac! I now have the right doctor; he listened to my symptoms, has stayed current on new developments in the medical field and I am well on a path to healing. I found the front office person at Dr. Blanco's practice to be curt. When I left the practice I requested my records and was handed SOMEONE ELSE'S records! When I alerted the staff to this error, and the impact on patient privacy they were nonchalant. Furthermore, they made excuses, saying that the error occurred because the request came to them on a Friday.
