He has been in the news but very biased reporting. He is a responsible physician, who relates well to my son. I trust him.

I think Dr. Peters is very knowledgeable regarding the field of neurology and related medications. He is very professional with a good bedside manner. He also took the time to answer any questions I had. However, I also felt he could have listened to my concerns, especially regarding very notable and extreme changes in my son's behavior when he was first put on his seizure medication. Dr. Peters didn't seem to validate my concerns. I am also alarmed that any doctor who is truly committed to the well-being of our children would continue to prescribe such strong, potent medicines that introduce toxicity to the body without engaging in fervent research and work to find more natural and healthy ways to address neurological disorders. I have spoken to many sufferers of seizure disorders since my son was diagnosed. Many complain of the side effects, the number of times they have switched medications, and the most alarming one, was that eventually, their seizure activity would return as… they built up a tolerance to the medication. Remember, the drugs prescribed are supplied by large pharmaceutical drug companies (it is a business!!) whose primary interest, in my opinion, is about making a ton of money, and about keeping you unhealthy and sick so they can continue to make a ton of money. I'm assuming doctors are either willingly practicing with this knowledge in order to keep their own job and keep their own bank account fat, or they have chosen denial, or are simply ignorant to what is really going on and truly feel in their hearts that they are doing the right thing. Dr. Peters may be in the third or last category. However, none of these is acceptable in my opinion. We need to stand up and demand more for our children and for ourselves. And did you know, that there are many neurological surgeons out there who would never perform neurological surgery on their own family or friends??!!! Why do you think that is??? Remember, doctors are not GOD, and they don't always operate with sound moral principles and ethics. A good beside manner does not necessarily equate with a good moral doctor who has your best interest at heart. Don't be fooled!

This doc had reviewed all the records even before we met him. He started with a summary of his review so we could correct him if there was anything inaccurate. After he asked us a lot of detail, and gave is his impression, we spent a lot of time talking about all aspects of the decisions we faced. He was prudent and thoughtful and really was involved. We trust him.

This doc connected with me and my son. He did a lot of preparory work and new his case inside out b4 even meeting us. He was very personably in his approach, and good with follow-up. He explains things in terms I understand.
