Dr. Justin M. Gamez, MD

Dr. Gamez has always answered my questions with amazing depth, I oftentimes walk away from my appointments feeling more informed and aware of my condition. He has never made me feel uncomfortable with any questions or concerns I've had either, I've never felt like I couldn't ask him a question because it was awkward, sensitive, or that I would be dismissed. If he can answer a question, he will, and to the best of his ability and knowledge to make sure I am well informed too. He has also never pushed uncomfortable ideology's on me or procedures I was uncertain about. I am proud to say that throughout my entire time of care with Dr. Gamez I feel that every choice and action taken throughout my care plan was my own and I have felt so much more comfortable in my body due to Dr. Gamez making sure that I am included in decision making. Dr. Gamez has always been willing to explore every route I can take and the risks, benefits, and outcomes associated with it. This is exactly what I needed as… I navigated a complex hormonal issue. Having walked into that office completely dumbfounded on my first appointment, I can now say that due to Dr. Gamez's professionalism in explaining everything about my diagnosis and options, I can probably give a lecture about it and have been able to explain my circumstances to people who struggle with similar issues and let them know they have options as well. Dr. Gamez has given me the opportunity to help other people with how attentive he has been with me throughout my care, indirectly helping others, I truly couldn't speak more highly of him. Additionally, I would absolutely recommend him immediately to anyone who is looking for an OB/GYN in a heart beat, no hesitation. I remember the only reason I was placed with Dr. Gamez in the first place before my very first appointment (2024) was because he was the first available provider who happened to have an open slot in his schedule. I was incredibly anxious at the time because I was worried that working with a male provider would mean my concerns would be dismissed and I would not be taken into account when making plans about my future care. Dr. Gamez immediately dismantled any anxieties I had, and showed me that I had no reason to be worried. When my friends at college tell me they need to find and OB/GYN I immediately ask them how close their home is to NOVA because Dr. Gamez is one of the best providers I have had.

I've already been recommending Dr. Gamez to other friends because he is a rare find in a doctor! Extremely knowledgeable, attentive, prompt, and invested in his patients. I highly recommend him and sincerely hope he is recognized for the value he brings to the Ashburn office!

Dr. Gamez had wonderful bedside manner discussing my miscarriage. He listened, validated our emotions, and gave us all the time we needed to ask questions. I appreciate his professionalism and compassion and hope to work with him in happier circumstances on future pregnancies.

Dr. Gamez goes above and beyond with my care. I usually do not prefer male GYN providers but Dr Gamez not only ensures I am safe and comfortable but also makes sure his care is mindful of my multiple chronic illnesses and my gender identity.
