Dr. Justin Patrick Hawes, MD

10 years out from major pelvis and wrist surgery. (Post Trauma) I am a 60 year old athlete, who was blessed by having Dr. Hawes as my Surgeon! :)

While I was building my house, a very heavy wall fell on me and shattered my ankle. Due to the complex nature of the broken bones, I was referred to Dr. Hawes. When we met, he was able to address all of my questions with confidence. He explained what needed to happen clearly and what I could expect my recovery to be like. A HUGE concern of mine was being able to have full function after recovery. He took a very conservative approach and only used four screws and allowed the body to heal itself where possible. It has been four months since my operation and I am getting to the point of doing light plyometrics and expect to be back to running, rollerblading and hiking with my kids soon. I would highly recommend Dr. Hawes

Dr. Hawes did a great job of caring for my 12 yo daughter after she fractured her arm while snowboarding. He was the physician on-call and was very good at speaking in terms my daughter could understand, made sure all of our questions were answered and worked her into the OR schedule so that she didn't have to wait too long to get her pin. I think he did a great job.
