Dr. Justin James Mitchell, MD

Dr. Mitchell took time to answer all of my questions and was down to earth, but was also very knowledgeable. It’s obvious why he’s so well regarded, and I’m happy to be working with him.

Superior experience. Dr Mitchell was thorough and extremely knowledgeable! If I decide to have surgery I know I am in good hands-literally!!

I was very nervous about needing surgery after talking to another doctor, so I lived with my shoulder pain for 5 years. After meeting with Korey (Dr. Mitchell's PA), I felt like I had more options available, and that I could get through a recovery. I met with Dr. Mitchell who explained my rotator cuff tear, went through my MRI's, and showed me videos that went through the surgery. Everyone was so thorough, and made me feel totally at ease. I would recommend this team very highly!

Bed side manners were excellent, I am in very little pain with hardly any pain meds after surgery, and everything was timely! Great staff indeed. Thank you for your care!

Dr Mitchell was great! He is very caring and listed to all of my concerns. I was very impressed that he looked at my x-rays the night before and even consulted with a colleague on his findings. I would highly recommend him anytime!!

I tore my ACL and another doc told me I was too old to fix it. But I like to ski and couldn’t do it after the tear. I found Mitchell who actually has taken care of skiers before. He didn’t care about my age and agreed to fix me. I’m 2 months away from being back on the hill and couldn’t be happier

Dr. Mitchell actually listens to what I was telling him. He looked at my shoulder closely and figured it out when the other person I saw couldn't. Very happy with how things went.

I saw a bunch of people over the years because my hip was in so much pain. No one actually believed I had a problem. Dr. Mitchell believed in me, and agreed to do a surgery to try to fix my hip issue (turns out I actually had a tear in my hip joint and bone spurs that were causing more tearing). Let me tell you, my hip hasn’t felt normal in years and after surgery it finally does. I can now walk without a cane for the first time in a very long tome. He gave me my life back.

We are lucky to have him working here. We move around a lot for our work with the Army, so I’ve seen many different doctors for my different military injuries during the years. He is by far the best, and I have recommended him to many people who have knee issues!
