We had a bad experience and our concerns were ignored when asking for my daughter to have a simple X-ray .we are African American and not listened too when we have concerns about our daughters health especially being I called after and asked again why an X-ray wasn’t performed which is recorded. I’m advocating for my family and I’m not okay with my concerns being hushed and ignored. And I completed the survey of my experience and I was never greeted until like ten minutes to fifteen minutes later after waiting in the front and immediately the front desk lady was on the phone and told me to wait again and then customers were not six feet apart and I was put in danger because the receptionist asked me to move from and area designated for covid and when that happened two woman came out of the door talking over me to the receptionist. Needless to say they didn’t do the X-ray we were told to go to Washington DC emergency room. We went to Anne Arundel emergency the X-ray was done four hours… later and that was when the doctor saw the problem and prescribed the medicine . I knew that she needed an X-ray and nobody listened to me and it took six hours to get one X-ray done. We left on pediatrics at around 10:00 pm it was closing time . We arrived home from Anne Arundel emergency at 4:00 am so we got to bed by 5:30 and had work at 6:45 am . I am happy both my eight year old and one year old are safe and disappointed it took two places to take an X-ray and that pm pediatrics refused to do one because they wouldn’t listen to the black mom!
