Dr Jyeping Tu, MD

Dr. Tu does not care about being a good doctor. She didn't listen very well when I had to go to her because I was very sick. She isn't my regular doctor. She said I just had allergies. I had pneumonia in both lungs. She prescribed an antibiotic that isn't used very much anymore, especially by younger doctors. I wound up in the hospital for 6 days. Dr. Tu doesn't like to be contradicted and her nursing staff were insulating. There is something very wrong with the El Dorado Hills Office. There are no good doctors there anymore. There are new front office staff there everything I go there to see my regular doctor.

She always listens, and responds with solutions, she does not waste time, but you have plenty of time with her. She is thorough. Been my Doctor for quite a few years.

Dr Tu is compassionate and takes everything I say to heart. She is very knowledgeable and thorough. She is a GREAT Doctor.

I requested Dr. Tu after Dr. Jrnlin left. I really like her and she has helped me so much.

She doesn't spend anytime with you to understand what the real problems/issues are, just wants to prescribe pills and move on to the next patient. Example: for a few visits she had said my BP was "a little high" Never said you should try this or this to get it down or even if it doesn't come down we will have to prescribe something so I assumed it was really just a little high. Next visit prescribed medicine with no education or attempt to do something without pills. Her nurse called me and told me to come in and see her before she could refill perscription, ok let's schedule it, "no, you have to hang up and call back to make an appointment" Needless to say, I was never able to fine the number so I could call back!

I have been seeing Dr. Tu for about five years. Why I stayed so long, I don't know. Over time, she has stopped listening and spends most of her time staring at the computer in the room. Lately I have picked up on a condescending attitude. I for one will be moving on.

I have been seeing Dr. Tu for about 6 years and I like her. She take very good care of me when I'm sick and makes sure I have all the tests that are needed to keep me healthy and well.

She pretty closed minded about most alternative treatments. After the first appt, where she seemed to be a good listener, the next one went downhill, and I felt as if I should've been talking to a wall about my issues. She was not able to make a correct diagnoses, and I have moved on to look for a better one.
