I was told that I had no nerve damage following my surgery, only to discover that I do have nerve damage and my voice did not return to normal.

He is a wonderful person and a great surgeon. I had seen two other surgeons who felt my thyroid surgery was too complicated for them. Dr, Sharma not only reduced my anxiety but was able to remove all of the cancer.

Dr. Sharma is truly fabulous! I loathe needles, surgery, hospitals, etc., plus I has a condition that exaggerated all said fears; I was mortified, beyond senseless, , plus the surgery was a fairly tricky one, that required a central line. He actually came into the prep area & stood beside the bed talking , in an effort to calm my nerves. I chose him because of his outstanding surgical record for the specific procedure I required; I never expected him, however, to be such a kind person. He was also, incidentally, more knowledgeable than my gp & endocrinologist, combined, to boot! This man is plain sharp, a real credit to his profession & a doctor who genuinely appears to care! I don't think I could ever adequately express my deep gratitude for his kindness as a person & skill as a surgeon!
