I was charged $240 by Michelle in the billing department, for a phone call by the doctor to review my negative test results (which I'd already seen online). I didn't ask for this phone call but agreed to it since they said that was protocol. They didn't mention they would consider it a full consult and charge me $240. When I called Michelle who handles billing at the office, her tone was nasty from the beginning. She said that there are full office notes in my file from that phone call- the notes showed that my condition had improved a bit since before, and that the doctor and I discussed medication and options, and that I was concerned re covid. Since this was my first time to see the doctor, there could be no improvement from past visits, and since I had no condition, therefore was no need to discuss medication or options, and since I never discussed Covid with the doctor since I'd already had it before, I told her there was a mix- up. She said they charge $240 for… reviewing test results, and I'd agreed to the call. I Had agreed to the call but not as a consult and not for $240, just as a courtesy review of my negative test results. I told her I wouldn't pay it and she hung up on me. I now have a $240 phone consult charge that insurance won't pay for (as it was on the phone) and that wasn't a consult, was some kind of mix-up, and will now go on my credit as an unpaid bill. It is a nightmare. I don't know if this is something I need to take to small claims court, -am at a loss.

After seeing an array of neurologists, I was finally referred to Dr. Reddy, who persisted and was able to diagnose my issue. I’m now getting the much needed help with pain and he’s working on finding the source of my problem. I highly recommend Dr Reddy.

I had the same wonderful Neurologist for around 20 years for severe migraine management. When he retired it was impossible to find care that was anything close to the care I had been receiving. I thought I would see if there was a UCLA affiliated doctor and was seeing a awful self entitled doctor I will not name. When I had a emergency room visit from a migraine worse than ever Dr. Raven gave me the recommendation to see Dr. Reddy. Best decision ever. Migraines are tricky. When you have no exact cause because you have tried all the recommended routes of prevention but still have upwards of 15 migraines a month you feel hopeless. I was ready for a new approach and a Dr. that was going to give me options. Not just here is your prescription refill continue your diary. Dr. Reddy listens to me and my concerns. He thinks about what I have said and along with that and the new trends in migraine research I leave his office with no less than 3 to 4 plans of action. This has given… me hope. It has given me action into attacking my health instead of just dosing it with the same old meds. Leaving his office with a list of 1, 2, 3, ... makes me so much more light-hearted. This has been a life-changer for me. I am down to 2-3 migraines a month to our trial and error. I feel very comfortable talking to him about my questions on different options and my reservations. He is very comfortable telling me his thoughts also. I can also tell you his staff has worked very hard to get me prior approvals medications, scans, and tests. You get the respect you give. A very friendly personality but looks carefully at test results on his computer and does thorough lab tests. I like doctors who are clearly knowledgeable in their field and communicates well.

Kind and supportive. He is very thorough and knowledgeable, he provides guidance and compassion when you are faced with a life altering diagnosis. He follows up even if you have been referred to a higher level of care.

This was the worst office staff experience of my life. The receptionist runs interference between the patient and the Dr. K. Reddy. We were ultimately unable to even get a direct consultation from the doctor himself after taking the tests he prescribed. Instead of following through with a review of my husbands MRI as the doctor himself promised, we were railroaded by his staff, whom he apparently has no control over nor any idea of the communications that transpire between his staff and his patients. I was surprised to see a doctor so entirely controlled by his staff and even more surprised when instead of calling us to review my husband results, he sent a registered letter releasing my husband from his care without any other communication with us! Not evenly remotely worth seeing Dr. K. Reddy for any reason, considering the nightmare that awaits one when dealing with his staff!
