Dr. Kalaimani Subramanian, MD

Dr.Subramanian has been my childs doctor for 4 yrs. She is always very thorough and takes her time with me and my daughter. My daughter absolutely loves her- and she actually doesn't mind going to dr when she has to because Dr. S is so kind. I have never experienced any issues with office staff either- I have been able to get in quickly and rarely a long wait.

I think dr. Kalai is an amazing doctor. She really treats me and my daughter like we are close friends. I found no problems with her practice or her staff. I'm not going to change doctors at all!

Terrible experience! My son constantly gets ear infections due to allergies and she kept giving us the same meds over and over again after I told her THEY WERE NOT WORKING and he needed to give him something different. Finally we went to a new doctor someone more experienced. My new doctor called them to get my sons records from them and they still havent faxed them and it's been 3 weeks now! So annoyed!

I went to this doctor because I have 2 friends who went to this doctor and my experience with her just got me fed up to the point where I finally switched.. Whenever my child was born she told me that my child was underweight and needed those nutrition drinks to help her gain so she wrote up a thing for WIC to get those.. Well when I went to WIC they looked at me like I was crazy as they checked her weight and said she was just fine because those drinks are going to make her overweight cause her height is short (im 4''11).. so when i went back to the doctor told her this she was angry saying she knows what shes doing so as a first time mom I was confused on which one to trust..every single visit I had she made my child go to the labs for blood tests which I did not see a point if she looked and seemed perfectly healthy why torture her.. then she says she had a UTI and gave her an antibiotic the antibiotic ended up giving her a rash so i took her to cooks they tested her and said she… had a rash cause she didn't even have an infection.... *-A year later I went in for a check up and she said that I must go get her kidneys looked at so I went to cooks to make sure her kidneys were okay they looked at me like i was crazy saying that if she didn't have any symptoms why get tested? They had to put a catheder and this really made my child cry.. Whenever the results came back said that it was normal then she wanted her to go back get more blood tests done I WAS DONE.. I will never go back to this doctor... And she did not even tell me when her next checkup was due did not even call me to tell me she was needing shots as i had to find out whenever i switched doctors that she was 2 years behind in shots.and not only that I did not feel comfortable with her asking questions she always had an attitude, and the Cooks hospital charged me 300 dollars for that exam cause medicaid did not cover it all.
