Dr. Kamna Malhotra, MD

I am very pleased with her ability to consider all factors contributing to my mental health and looking at all alternatives for mental wellness in treatment.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. The staff was very rude and unprofessional. They would never get back to me and I asked them to please have the doctor call me. At the time I had no insurance struggling to make ends meet. Cut a long story short I needed my prescription to get refilled that I ran out of and after 4 days they still didn't call them in and kept telling me they had to speak with Doctor. So they said if I didn't make payments I'd no longer be able to have services there so I told them I would start making payments as soon as I could. I've been on meds since I was 13 and I was having withdraws and thought I was gonna die without them. That's one thing you don't mess with when people who take medications everyday. The doctor was very nice to me however the staff is a very important role in a place as well. So the manager was completely rude to me and all of a sudden she said I was discharged from the office. She probably told the doctor a totally different… story but that's ok cause I want to go somewhere where they actually care about their patients and not ever go through the emotional pain and suffering I was going threw.

Does not like when a patient thinks on her own and doesn't follow her medical advice when taking a new medication. As a medical professional myself, I knew that if I took the medicine as prescribed I would have had a lot of more issues than I was being treated for. Good doctor, but unless she's taken these medications, they should be open to SLOWLY administering a very small does and increase the dose SLOWLY over 4 to 6 weeks. My wait time was between 5 and 70 mins.

Dr. Malhotra is very proficient and experienced in her field. She is very kind, warm and genuine. I would recommend her professional services. Thank you for helping me get back to myself!

After limited time with patient, prescribed a medication change without giving current treatment plan time to work. Spent extremely limited time with patient before prescribing new medication. Threatens patient and family into doing what she wants and if you don't, she follows through with her threat. Unbelievable that this person is a doctor working in the mental health profession.

Bottom line, my duaghter suffers from depression and saw Dr. M when she had issues during the school year and went to a transitions program. Dr M strongly advised that they should manage the medications during her time there. After she was discharged we needed a refill "mind you these are drugs that must be taken each day" Called transitions at 6:30 AM. Recevied a call mid afternoon the doctor was not in as if one day would not be a problem. Recevied a call the next day at 5:00pm saying since she was discharged she could not provide a refill and we should go back to are primary physican. At that hour there office was closed. Now day 2 no meds no actuall call from the Dr. I just can not fathom how a doctor who deal with children with mental issues could keep a medical licensce.

I .was diagnosed by the dr. immediately after years of knowing something was amiss i just was clueless.

I don't think she really understands the problems that I have. Working on medication that is suitable, may be getting there. Some of my issues date backs to childhood/teenager years and she needs to understand that just medicating and a brief talk is not going to make it happen overnight, when issues have been going on for some 30+ years.

I have seen Dr. Malhotra for many years and she is extremely profesional and a caring doctor. She really cares about my illness and worked on appropiate medicaton issues and changes. I would highly reccommend her.

I had so many bad reactions to antidepressants. Dr.I find Dr. Malhotra to be very caring and understanding. She worked very hard to find an antidepressant to work for me. We tried so many but they made me sick, she finally found something to work for me. She never rushes me when I have an appointment with her. She takes time with me and is truly concerned with my condition.
