Dr. Kamran Asghar Chaudhary, MD

Has worked diligently with me for 3 years with a difficult diagnosis. Always returns calls. Reviews all aspects of my care each visit.

I have been going to Dr. Chaudhary since he opened his practice. I have always found him to be respectful, knowledgeable, and caring. I especially appreciate the fact that he sees me as an important part of my treatment team. Since Rheumatoid Arthritis means a long term relationship with both the doctor and his staff, it is important to realize that there will be highs and lows with your condition. Dr. Chaudhary has always been ready to encourage me and reinforce our goals. He welcomes my input and listens when I have concerns. I always leave my appointments feeling I have made the right choice. I have recommended Dr. Chaudhary and have family members who are also his patients.

Very hard to get a hold to make appointments.

I have been seeing Dr. Chaudhary for about 2 years now. He is a nice guy, but I'm not so sure about his diagnosing abilities. I get the feeling he just thinks I'm nuts and doesn't really think I have anything wrong with me when I explain my aches/pains and concerns. He does not rush me out, ever. I appreciate that, but most times I do not even tell him things because I feel like he doesn't really take it into consideration anyway. The doctor is thorough with his labwork -as far as ordering it. But then he says "everything was fine" even when some levels are elevated/low. Even if something is only slightly elevated, I would like to know that! After 2 years, I'm beginning to consider switching to an Internist or a different rheumatologist. Nurses are very nice. Billing department is very unhelpful. They have screwed up, leaving me owing $500...no apology, they just blamed me. And forget about it if you want the lady with black hair in billing to find out pricing costs ahead of time for… you. Every time I have an appointment there, I plan on being there a total of 2 hours on average. I usually wait in the waiting area for about 30-45 minutes on average. Then once I am taken into the exam room, I wait another 20-30 minutes before the doctor actually comes in.
