Dr. Kamran Hakimian, MD

I've probably had at least 12 EMGs (nerve conduction studies) in my lifetime. Dr. Kamran Hakimian was the most painful. He really seemed sadistic to me. My boyfriend (an atheist gentile) noted the same thing. Later we both wondered if the Star of David necklace I was wearing had something to do with it. Since that awful visit I've always kept it tucked under my shirt when visiting a doctor. This is just speculation, but certainly *something* caused him to be so rough and so extreme with the test that it was by far the most painful EMG I've ever had. I would never recommend him to anyone.

I've had probably a half dozen nerve conduction studies in my lifetime, and Dr. Hakimian was absolutely brutal when he performed the study on me. My boyfriend was present and even commented on it later. I was wearing a Star of David necklace and even wondered if maybe Dr. Hakimian hates Jews or something. I truly have never had a nerve conduction study with someone who is so rough. I don't wear my necklace with a doctor after Dr. Hakimian just in case. Wish I could give him zero stars.

An outstanding Dr. Dr. Hakimian is the best. I moved and now traveling back just to see him! Great bedside manner, and excellent at what he does! They need to clone him!! Marsi

I was scheduled to see Dr. Hakimian for a nerve test at his office located in Beverly Hills. Dr. Kakimian and his office staff were very detailed in explaining to me each nerve test prior to beginning the procedure. I‘ve had a nerve test before with another doctor, and this nerve test was little to no pain. His staff were welcoming and professional. I didn’t have to wait before they called me in. I did notice that the facility was well organized and very clean. Parking was no problem for me. I highly recommend him.
