Terrible doctor, ruined my mother’s life. I would not trust your family anywhere near this man

It is a little past 7 pm on a Saturday, actually just a few minutes ago. I have just checked my voicemail message and there was a call placed at 5:30 pm from an unrecognized number. Although I figure it's just a meaningless robocall, probably the reason I didn't answer in the first place, I check it out. Lo and behold, it's Dr. Kalpari on the line. To put things in perspective, let me explain: On Friday morning, the day before, I had called the doctor's office to let him know I had experienced a fall the previous Sunday, injuring my chest. I spoke to his receptionist, Jonavi (I'm not sure how to spell her name), who is always upbeat and considerate. While I didn't think it was any big deal and was going to deal with things on my own, the pain had not subsided, so I decided to see if the doctor could offer any guidance or advice. Ten minutes later, I get a call back from the office. His receptionist had spoken to Dr. Kalpari, who suggested I have X-rays taken immediately. They had… already selected an imaging center determined to be the most convenient for me, based upon my address. I was told the necessary paperwork should be at the imaging center by time I got there. I arrived at the center a half hour later and was told that Kalpari's office had indeed sent over the appropriate paperwork and that chest and abdomen x-rays were to be taken "stat." Less than a half hour later, the x-rays were in fact taken. I was on my home within an hour. Shortly after arriving home, I received a call from Dr. Kalpari's office advising me he had reviewed the x-rays and they were negative. I was given advice as to how to care for my injury. As indicated earlier, I even debated whether this entire situation was even worthy of the doctor's attention. I was, of course, pleased with the prompt response and helpful information. That brings me to the call I just received. The message Dr. Kalpari left informed me that the chest and rib scans were normal. Further, he would be in his office at 9 am on Monday morning and if the pain persists, I should give him a call and he would order a CatScan. I have been a patient of Dr. Kalpari's for well over twenty years and this level of attention and concern is typical. Many times, I have received a call back from him at 7 or 8 pm, often on a Friday when was still in his office after I'm sure what was a busy day. I have been spoiled. How many physicians would take the trouble to so quickly and fully address my relatively minor problem, let alone make a follow-up call on a Saturday evening? His office examinations are thorough and professional. In conversations with him, it's clear he's listening and carefully considering what you have to say. While invariably busy, he always has enough time to thoughtfully address any concerns you might have. He is an outstanding diagnostician, to boot. I'm not one to generally take the time to write lengthy reviews, but this time around, Dr. Kalpari's efforts just blew me away. I am ever grateful to have him as my physician. Stu Glovin

Dr Kalpari has been my primary care physician for 10 years. At my age of 71 I have experienced 14 surgeries and many traumatic injuries. After 8 years in the USMC and 32 years in law enforcement I have been exposed to hundreds of physicians. Without any doubt Dr Kamram Kalpari is # 1 in Every Aspect.

Stay away from this office and Dr. Kalpari. My husband was referred to Dr. Kalpari to do his physical. We were at the office on Monday and Dr. Kalpari told my husband to call office on Thursday to get the lab result. My husband called the office on Thursday, Friday, Monday after, Tuesday after and so on!.. Each time he was told by staff that his lab result is in and Dr. Kalpari will contact him! My husband called the office like 10 times in the next 10 days after our visit. When he couldn't reach the doctor he asked the staff to email him the lab result. Finally Dr. Kalpari called back and told my husband that lab result was ok. One of the items on result actually was out of range. So my husband asked Dr. Kalpari about the item which was out of range! The shocking part was that doctor told him he needs to go to office and pay the co pay and then he can talk about lab result ! It was the most unprofessional and unethical behavior you could expect your doctor. Dr. Kalpari also told my… husband that he had called office so many times in the past ten days and they were annoyed! We never had this kind of experience in Cedars or UCLA where our other doctors are. They usually call back us within few days after lab result and update us on the result. We will never go this office and I don't recommend going to Dr. Kalpari' office to any of my friends.

Dr Kalpari is a great DR. I have sent many of my friends to see him, all are very happy with his care.I travel alot and i can call him from any where and he will call you back and give you the help you need!! Thank you Dr K

I have been going to him for years. He is the greatest. He is so good that although I am moving to Texas, I plan on returning to him once a year for my physical.

Always has time for you and goes out of his way at time to help you in certain situations. One of the best doctors I've ever had!

There are only 2 men in this world that I trust and they are my husband and Dr. Kalpari. His diagnosis are spot on and he is so caring. He sees me each day in the hospital even before the surgeon visits.I have been his patient for 12 years and can't imagine not having him as my Doctor.
