Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I waited nearly an hour in total past my scheduled appointment time before even seeing the doctor. I was initially triaged by an assistant, which was completely fine, and the assistant also completed the eye exam. After that, I waited another 30+ minutes before being taken into a room to see the doctor. When the doctor came in, the visit lasted no more than four or five minutes. The doctor did not examine my eyes and spent very little time discussing my symptoms before recommending that I use eye drops. I understand that medical offices can run behind, but after spending well over an hour waiting, I expected a more thorough evaluation and more time with the physician. Overall, I left feeling that my concerns had not really been evaluated or addressed.

I wasn’t met with kindness, and my procedure caused me a lot of pain during it. The numbing ointment wasn’t given enough time to act before I knew something was going through my eye. Right now my eye is very swollen and I am very concerned about if I am going to have any long term effects. Overall, I haven’t had positive experiences with NorthWest Eye Clinic. In my personal opinion, doctors lack a lot of empathy which is vital in the medical field.

Had to find a new ophthalmologist (after 10 years) due to change in insurance, and selected Dr Nejad based on his bio. I found his line of questioning more condescending than curious on my first visit. I'd relayed my several issues to the assistant/tech, and Nejad only glanced at the notes. My second visit was similar; others did the imaging, notes, pressure check (typical), but he only glanced at them. No explanation of what he saw, no questions, no interpretation of my test results. I asked if he'd had time to review my previous doctors' notes, and all he said was yes. Ten years of notes from three different specialists regarding numerous issues and he had no comment, did not evaluate my new results in the context of my history - just a cursory yes and he was out the door. I expect more curiosity and communication from my doctors, and am so far feeling dismissed and irrelevant.

Dr. Nejad was very comprehensive in his diagnosis. He made me feel very comfortable. He explained the condition of my eyes and took time to answer my questions. Very positive experience.

Dr. Nejad was wonderful. Urgent Care referred me to Northwest Eye Care for an emergency eye exam, and I was extremely fortunate that Dr. Nejad agreed to see me on such short notice. He did an exam on my eye, and prescribed medications to treat the inflammation. He answered all my questions, and communicated with me clearly. I would highly recommend Dr. Nejad!
