Dr. Kanani Kelly Dilcher, MD

Some of the office staff can be insensitive and rude, but it's worth enduring the microagressions to have Dr. Dilcher as my doctor. I have had healthcare in 2 different states, and over seas, to be able to compare my treatment. If Dr. Dilcher doesn't have an answer to a question or problem she refers me to a specialist who can help. She believes me. She respects my body. She genuinely cares about how I am doing, and I is able to relate to me and invites her patients into her own life. Because of this doctor-patient relationship, I'm on my way to receiving 3 diagnoses which I waited for years elsewhere to receive. I feel like I'm included in my care, and the decisions about my treatment. She has no problems with signing disability paperwork and signing reasonable accommodation paperwork, and does so in a timely manner. If you are chronically ill and have a disability, Dr. Dilcher is the physician for you.

Dr. Kanani Dilcher has been my primary doctor for the past 5 to 6 years. She is the best doctor I've ever had in my 71 year life. She spends adequate time with me and never rushes the appointment along. She is a great listener and remembers all my questions and concerns, as well, she follows through expectedly and unexpectedly. Dr. Dilcher is very personable and deeply caring. I am so disappointed that she had to leave Hawaii to relocate to Oregon. I pray that she will return to Hawaii in the near future.
