Dr. Kanubhai Ochhavlal Patel, MD

Dr Patel has been my mother's doctor for several years. He goes above and beyond that of a typical primary care doctor. He answers all questions and genuinely cares about his patients. I couldn't ask for a better doctor for my mother and I feel comfort knowing that she is in good hands.

I have been with Dr Patel for some time (years). Over that time I have personally witnessed him berate and raise/yell at several workers and one outside vendor. He has gone through dozens of office staff since I have been going to him. I suspect this is because of his abusive unprofessional behavior toward his staff. Over the years he has directed several comments toward me that where close to crossing the line but not quite over the line. He recently crossed the line by raising his voice at me while I was in an appointment. I called him on this unacceptable behavior and he denied it even though it had happened just a few minutes before. He then went out of the office and yelled at a very young intern at the front desk (the latest in many I have witnessed). It was at that moment that I decided after many years of going to him that I could not support a person who treats people like this. Neither myself or others should be subject to this. In fact the only reason I am… on this sight is because I needed to see if I was alone in my assessment, clearly I am not. It is too bad because Dr Patel is a very knowable capable physician. Unfortunately he lacks the the personality and professionalism to be a great Doctor which he could be. Sadly for him he would need to have a profound and fundamental personality change to achieve this.

He uses you as a test subject for pumping you with all kinds of medications that don't work. Must get a kick back form the big Pharms. Also more interested in debt collections. Warning he doesn't take credit cards and if you dont pay up front he charges extra for billing. Greedy monster at best.

Dr. Patel has been my primary care doctor for over 20 years. I am most impressed with his ability to diagnose, sometimes complicated issues, with incredible accuracy. I consider him to be a superior physician and consider myself fortunate to have received his treatment. He has always been very supportive to me. In addition, his referrals to specialists have been excellent.

Overall a very impulsive and non-caring person who is better suited for working in a zoo than interfacing with people. DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR EVER! He has the insight of a lost child and the manner of a "smoke and mirrors" actor.

This office is horrible.

Very impatient not willing to take the time if your needs are more than he wants to deal with needless to say this was my fathers Dr and he had passed due to late detection of illnesses that could have been prevented if caught early enough I would never recommend him

The dispute the comment and rating that was posted by regarding Dr. Patel.Dr, Patel has been my primary doctor for the past 15 years and he has always been available should I have a health problem wheter it is a holiday or after hours. Exams are very complete and he has never rushed any appointment. The staff is very knowledgable and courteous. Test results are available the next day. Defintely a 5 star rating for Dr. Patel.

This Dr. has no bedside manner. I brought an elderly patient in with dimensia and when he came in the exam room, he didn't even say hello to the patient or me. He is the type of Dr. that just wants you in and out so he can make the most money in one day.
