Dr. Kanwal Shehzadi Khan, MD

Came in for an appt after having to be reschedule (2x) she was top rated through my insurance company so I gave her a shot. When i finally came into my appt I waited over an hour to then be taken to the back office to be told I had an outstanding balance with them that needed to be paid otherwise I would not be given the chance to continue with my procedure. (Which is unprofessional to turn someone down from care, and being in the medical field your not suppose to.) Informed Dr. Khan I had the money to pay it off and she kept insulting me like I financially could not afford it. During the office visit she did a procedure without showing any compassion or showing concern for how painful it was. She is completely unprofessional and lacks empathy for her patients. I went in for an opinion and instead felt like I wasn't even able to get my concerns out to her because she was worried about the finances and getting the appt over with instead of actually showing interest like a doctor… would. Did not provide any follow up routine, did not have any wipes to clean myself off afterwards, the night gown was just thrown on the table when I went in for my initial visit, and offered absolutely no solution to my issue. I would definitely NOT recommend her, don't set yourself up! This was the worst experience I have ever encountered with an OBGYN specialist.

I have had 2 appointments with Dr. Khan, and one with the NP, and all three experiences were negative. The third time was the worst, when Dr.Khan was performing a Pap smear and my body had the automatic reaction of tensing up a little (which is completely normal), and Dr. Khan chuckles and said “you get so tense, how do they put it in???” That was the MOST DISRESPECTFUL thing I’ve ever heard from a provider. The worst bedside manners. Every appointment felt super rushed, she never sat down to discuss the procedures I had received, no talk about side effects, aftercare or anything. Will not recommend or come back.

Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Khan was not best. It felt completely rushed even though I was patient and waited for almost an hour to be seen. I uploaded my insurance almost two weeks prior to my visit, yet I had to wait 55 minutes until their office was able to validate my insurance. I felt as though I was a bother rather than priority. I was extremely optimistic to see Dr. Khan because she had so many amazing reviews. My exam was rushed, my consultation was rushed, I was unable to address one of my two concerns, and I was reminded about my weight twice, even though I only spoke with the Dr. Khan for literally 4 minutes. I had a few concerns that I wanted to go over with Dr. Khan but I didn't get a chance to discuss it with her because she received a phone call and then rushed to start my exam. Afterwards, there wasn't even wipes to clean yourself once you're done with your examine. I have had the pleasure of having two phenomenal Ob-gyn's in the past and this was honestly my… worse experience. Overall, my visit made me regret coming to her office and I will not return.

Polite and excellent in service .c section was done so well and she’s very courteous and nice but what I faced throughout here and there was horrendous with last baby. High risk patient she sent me one hour driving weekly for maternal scan when I had a hospital next door for this . After 6 to 7 weeks of going to her recommendation doctor for scan she changed it to one close by . Fette delivery I bleeding for 4-5 months . I told her I need to go to India and I need d&C done as I suspect it’s not done and uterus isn’t cleaned and some excuse came and finally she ready to do and I was fine in less than 12 hrs after procedure . Second child now a year later she recommended to do genetic blood screening after 11 weeks as I am 36 years but her team never checked or informed me that she was using n out of network vendor fir me and the cost to me will be 900$ and when I got bill for this now and I emailed her and tried calling ZERO response . Paying was not the issue . The issue is if we… are told it will be out of network and if it’s essential test I would have got it done from a in network company simple .

Dr.Khan has been my OBGYN for 2 years now and is always so caring and proficient. She always makes sure my needs are met. My fiancee and I were both very pleased and amazed with how perfectly she handled delivering our son! She coached my through thebwhole thing and even told me what time my son would. Be delivered! She was correct and I was only in labor for 2 hours!!! We have another baby on the way now and there isn't anyone else I'd rather have through this process than her! -Shana Good

Dr. Khan has been a blessing to me and my husband. I first saw Dr.Khan for a myomectomy to have my fibroids removed. Prior to scheduling my appointment I was very scared. Dr. Khan explained to me thoroughly what she would have to do and what the procedure was like. Long story short I had the procedure September 2016. Everything went well and I was fibroid free. Thanks to Dr. Khan, I got pregnant November 2016. Very fast. I delivered a bouncy baby boy on 8/4/17 by Dr. Khan. She is a blessing!!

She has an awesome experience... very understanding with lot of patience. After my delivery my stitches are not properly healed...and Iam very badly depressed due to some other problems.... doctor khan took a very good care about me ... and Iam very much thankful to her ?? For her care and motivation.

Completely unprofessional. Doesn't chart things appropriately if she does at all. Uses outside of network labs that cost a ton of money that isn't covered by insurance. Will never go back here again.

It is all about her and not what the patient wants. Wait times are terrible. She completely ignored my wants and needs and did not tell me what to expect as this was my first child. She cut me when I asked her not to and did not give me time to stretch or push. It was a terrible experience. It was all about what she wanted to do and she is always rushed and in a hurry. Do not go to this doctor!!!!
