Dr. Kara Ann Dalke, MD

I had a really bad experience with Dr. Dalke at this practice that I felt the need to share. I went to see her for my routine pap exam and to also discuss my issues with trying to conceive, as we've been trying for well over a year. She was extremely rude and condescending to me. She fat shamed me and when I mentioned that I used pregnancy/ovulation tracker apps, she had the audacity to tell me to delete them off my phone and "replace them with Kama sutra apps!" I found this to be incredibly unprofessional. She said she did not want me to go for any blood testing as it's "unnecessary", even though I told her that we've been trying for 18 months! Completely unsatisfied after my appointment, I went to my primary care doc, who was more understanding and she sent me for bloodwork and an ultrasound. Turns out that I have PCOS! I now have a regiment in place with medicine and a plan to get pregnant. Thankfully, I went with my gut! Dr. Dalke is young in the field and it shows. Her… lack of bedside manner, arrogance, and bad medical advice has completely turned me off from the practice, despite the stellar reviews. The only saving grace of the place is the incredibly kind nurses and office staff... but that's not enough for me to go back. If you're looking to go to this practice and you're trying to conceive, please consider seeing a different doctor than her.

While Gynecologic visits are not my favorite, Dr. Dalke made me feel very comfortable. She took the time to listen to my concerns and seemed genuinely interested in my feelings. I apprecite her sense of humor and the overall ease of the visit. I felt confident in her abilities and would see her again.

Seems clueless, rude, brushes off questions, rushed. Told me DO NOT get whooping cough pertussis vaccine during pregnancy but ACOG recommends that I do. Not comfortable with her at all.

Not the best Doctor. New and ignorant. She is new Doctor so not very experienced in matters. Also her consultation is vague. One would kind of find her rude.
