Dr. Kara Ellen Sternhell Blackwell, MD

Dr. Sternhell is top-notch. She’s attentive, compassionate, thorough, and very knowledgeable. She goes the extra mile to diagnose and treat. I’ve been a patient for several years and would highly recommend her. Her office is easy to get to and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 minutes.

I highly recommend Dr. Blackwell. She is an excellent doctor who truly cares about her patients.

My daughter saw Dr Sternhell-Blackwell after getting nowhere with a local dermatologist. I was amazed at Dr Sternhell-Blackwell's thorough workup & compassionate bedside manner. As an RN it is extremely difficult to impress me. However she far exceeded my high expectations. She was thorough in her explaination to both my daughter & I. She answered all of our questions. She never seemed in a hurry & took her time. My daughter needed further testing, in addition to a biopsy. Knowing we had made nearly a 6 hour round trip to see her, she arranged to have everything completed immediately onsite before we left. Her staff was also amazing, kind & efficient. I highly recommend Dr Kara Sternhell-Blackwell!

Dr. Nunley spotted an area on my skin which no one else had ever noticed that she biopsied finding atypical cells and she immediately sent me to a surgeon. Without her attention to detail this may have turned cancerous.

Dr. Nunley is hands-down the best (and nicest) dermatologist I've seen. I had seen several other dermatologists for my problem without improvement prior to seeing her. The staff wer courteous, and she was a kind listener and extremely knowledgeable. She solved my problem after the initial visit, but took the time to follow-up and answer all of my questions at the next visit. I don't think you'll find a better dermatologist out there!

First visit they didn't remove enough of a mole on my back. Had to return for a second visit. First visit was about 30 minutes and second visit about 45 total. Received the bill and the total cost was over $3500. After insurance we are being asked to pay $1800 out of pocket. How can you feel good about these type of charges?

I have had three previous dermatologists and problems ranging from a stage 2 melanoma to a rash. Dr. Nunley is hands down THE best dermatologist (and even one of the best physicians of any stripe) with whom I've dealt. She is knowledgeable, confident, competent, personable, caring, and kind.

Dr Nunley really helped me deal with my acne problem and even more important convinced my mother that my skin problems weren't my fault. I would strongly recommend her.
