Dr. Karen Michelle Bovid, MD

We saw Dr.Bovid a few times for my daughter being evaluated for Hip Dysplasia. She was so caring, understanding, personable and knew her stuff. We would definitely go back to seeing her if necessary.

Dr. Bovid treated my four year old after he hurt his foot and couldn't walk. She was so kind and caring and was very patient with him (and me) and took the time to make sure we understood his injuries and treatment options and the risks that went with them. Our follow-up care and office visits with her were just as good and my son has thankfully fully healed. I have to ignore the other review of that bitter parent whose kid had unfortunate treatment complications because based on my family's experiences with Dr. Bovid (and what I have heard from my friends whose kids have also been treated by her for hip and spine problems) I only know Dr. Bovid to be super thorough and caring about her patients in order to make sure they get the best care possible. I truly can't recommend her enough!

My son was seen my Dr. Karen Bovid for the treatment of Clubfoot. During his treatment we experienced 4 slipped casts resulting in his foot being made significantly worse and developed a Complex Clubfoot. It took the best Clubfoot doctor in the US to fix his foot. It is clear to me she knew she made his condition worse, attempted to fix it but continued to experience the same complications and refused to refer out. We are not the only family having had this experience and WMU has continually refused to conduct a clinical review of our case. I would not recommend Dr. Bovid to anyone!
