Dr. Karen Corallo Chaney, MD

This doctor caused me a great deal of harm and is one of the very worst doctors I have ever seen. She demonstrated so little regard for patients as human beings, patient rights, medical ethics and best practices, and the value of a human life. I nearly lost my life under her "care" and direction of my paraprofessional "clinical team". She approved discharging me as an actively suicidal depressed patient who had immediately prior attempted suicide in hospital. I could write further comments such as how arrogant, assuming, rude, insulting, condescending, and manipulative she was, but that all seems trivial compared to her dismissiveness of all my thoughts and feelings as her fairly new patient (whom she barely knew, but was so very certain of her diagnosis) and devaluing of my life.She is a dangerous practitioner who behaved very unethically with a vulnerable patient. She is abusive of the trust placed in her as a physician.I'm writing this review because I believe that someone could… die under her care.

Dr. Chaney was my Dr. in Corpus Christi,Tx.and she was the best. Hope her career is going good, and I miss her being here!
