Dr. Karen Abele Devore, MD

Dr. Devore and staff has never let me down with the procedures I have had to have done. The office was clean , also pt. rooms clean and fresh. Nurses where very nice and knew their pt. care willing to educate you on proper wound care. Dr.Devore has a great practice and they were very nice to me and willing to go the extra mile.

Thank you so much to Dr. DeVore & her staff! They were all great in assisting me with my issues & all seem to care about you. Dr. DeVore was wonderful in addressing my issue & I feel she made a very thorough diagnosis with appropriate treatment to follow.

I have been a patient of Dr Devore’s for the past 15 years to treat my skin condition. She was always willing do try new meds to give me the best treatment possible. She has always been super nice and professional. Recently I missed an appoirment( keep in mind they have a credit card on file) and they will charge for a missed visit. I missed due to being sick at home . When I called her nurse specifically to reschedule and get in for the blood work required , she very rudely and abruptley scolded me like a two year old and told me I’d have to start the process all over again with my skin medicine. Keep in mind , it is quite a process and time consuming to get this med approved through insurance. ( something I can’t do without) . If only she had a family member going through this , maybe she would be more understanding. I proceeded then to leave a message with the office Manager and asked her to please give me a call. She NEVER called me back. The next thing I received in the mail… was a letter excusing me from the practice. What did I miss? I even called to ask to speak to Dr Devore who I have had a patient/Dr relationship with for 15 years. I was told by the front desk she does not answer patient calls. I do know this , her sweet nurse prior , who is now retired would have never treated me this way. Dale was awesome and is truly missed. I truly hope Dr Devore is aware of what her nurse , manager and front staff are doing. Firing her patients. If it’s without her knowledge, she may want to reevaluate. Certainly this is a bussiness. But let’s not forget why you do what you do. To CARE for patients. I hope no one else has to go through what I have been through. Again, disappointed and disheartened. LB72

Be SURE you TOTALLY understand the page of Items to initialize if you agree to the items; and what happens if you don't initial 1 of them, particularly the one dealing with your debit or credit card ... ! Beware, if you are on Medicare with or without Plan-B and/or any Supplemental Secondary Ins. Co's. who send out EOB's, 'AFTER' the office gets their payment.....

I had a great experience here and I would highly recommend Dr. Devore!

She was better than anyone else! She was personable and friendly while getting to the point and not dragging out the appointment. Her staff was great and the entire experience really was amazing and I will be going back every single time I need a dermatologist!
