Dr. Karen Louise Fehr, MD

I’ve been a patient for several years and each visit something with billing has been screwed up. Last year they billed me for an appointment I never made with them!! They said I didn’t show. I had just come in 2 days prior so that was fun explaining that it was their error. So I thought I’d give one more shot this year to see if the office organization had improved because Dr. Fehr herself is a great physician . I really like her. Just when I thought this visit went great, $245 bill came in the mail for a Pap test. I have amazing insurance that basically covers everything. I had specifically asked for the lab that my insurance company covers , yet it was still sent to the wrong lab . And they make you sign a waiver saying you will pay all charges and fees and they aren’t responsible .... blab blah blah. So basically they aren’t responsible in any way for their ineptitude or their billing or scheduling processes. I don’t have time to deal with the headaches and cannot imagine what… it would be like if I had to visit their office monthly while pregnant. I was hoping to work with her through my pregnancy but it’s just not worth it.

Dr. Fehr is friendly but odd. I am a member of the medical community and she had came with mixed reviews from my collegues. She cut corners with my prenatal care but I was healthy and the pregnancy was fine so I was not alarmed. She was friendly and readily available at the delivery but made an error that will result in future surgery for me to repair. The real issue was I thought something was wrong and returned twice for her to examine me afterwards and she was not nearly as friendly and later I found not forthcoming with her mistake. I was examined by another physician who immediately did minor surgery and recommended further surgery to repair. The second physician was very upset that I had brought this to Dr.Fehrs attention because it could have avoided a major surgery if she had listened to me instead of rushing me through and asking me "And why are you back?". She never apologized after the extent of my problem was known. I give her a fair rating because she was not all… bad...just bad when it really counted.

Over coded consult visit to be a physical causing insurance issue then waited a year without contacting us to send a $50 bill to collections (We didn't know we owed anything) and charges $41 for a collections letter so now owe $91 a year to the month after last visit. Lori at the office stated that is how it is!

I love Dr Ferh and her staff they are the best!! They make you fee like family!!!

I LOVE Dr Fehr and Rhonda. They are so wonderful. They are warm and kind hearted. When I got pregnant I was terrified and a HUGE baby myself. They never once seemed irritated with me or rushed me. Her staff is friendly and helpful. Granted they are a busy office but that is because they create such a great relationship with their patients that by word of mouth their practice grows. Great people all around.

She is a wonderful doctor but to bad her office has gone down hill. I go in there once every three months for just a few minutes. One would think I was trying to reach the pope or something. Dont bother leaving a message for Marie whose job is supposedly to schedule appointments. She will not call you back. Getting someone live on the phone could take days. Leaving messages with the answering service is no help. I had to call again later in the week after not hearing from anyone. I even left a message for another gal in the office hoping I would have better luck with her, but she also never returned my call. Getting an appointment in that office is a nightmare. Dealing with the pharmacy downstairs in the building is a nightmare. I have been sent upstairs and down stairs numerous times in one day because the pharmacy and the gals in Dr Fehrs office cant seem to pull it together. I am bleeding and left a message two weeks ago. Still no phone call back. I have decided to find another Dr.… I have even thought of emailing Dr Fehr to let her know something is not right in her office, but thats her responsibility to know whats happening and not happening in her office!

Outstanding doctor and staff. I wouldn't use any other doctor for my OB and GYN care.

Dr. Karen Ferh is the best! She is so concerned about your well being for you and your child if you are pregnant. She is so loving and caring! The whole staff is the great, and make sure you have everything you need! Love them all!
