Dr. Karen Lynn Fink, MD

If you or your family is forced to seek the care of a neuro-oncologist I am sorry. It is a terrible thing to come to grips with the diagnosis of a GBM. I am writing this because Dr. Fink and her office made an already traumatic experience worse. I wish I had listened to my intuition to find another doctor. Do yourself a favor and meet with Dr. Fink before choosing treatment with her. Dr. Fink and her staff appear to have forgotten that everyone needs hope.

Dr. Fink is highly respected and regarded in the brain cancer community in the DFW area. She came highly recommended and has treated me for 15+ years. As a brain tumor survivor, I am grateful for her & her staff's compassion and knowledge in my treatment needs always. Thank You

I found Dr. Fink to be very disrespectful and casual with her patients. Based on her credentials she looks good on paper, however her attitude toward her patients makes me think she's burned out. If you're thinking about going to her for cancer treatment be sure to interview her and her staff first.

Please be aware that this practice only keeps up with the patient when services can be billed. After "no more can be done" and many thousands of dollars later, a follow up call to inquire as to the long time patient's current health does not seem too much to ask.

Dr. Fink is always an appointment I look forward to and that is saying alot when talking about seeing a brain doctor!! I trust her completely.

I was only under the care of Dr. Fink for four months before an insurance issue forced me to change oncologists. Of the four months, I only met with Dr. Fink once and instead met with her college, Dr. Vanessa Nester the other three times. I did not like Dr. Nester and wasn't able to form a strong opinion of Dr. Fink from one visit. The nurses and office staff are awesome and super friendly!!

Dr. Karen Fink is not only extremely knowledgeable about brain cancer, but caring and supportive as well. My son is her patient and he always comments about how much he trusts her and has confidence in her decisions. I highly respect Dr. Karen Fink.

I have been a patient of Dr. Fink for almost nine years, and I think the best thing you can say about a physician is that they really care about you and want you to know everything regarding your condition. She spends a lot of time with me making sure I understand my status. She defines all medical terms (which in neuro-oncology can be brutal for a layman like me), and she points out anything interesting on my scans. She is warm and friendly on every visit, as are the members of her staff.

Our family absolutely loves Dr. Fink and her staff. It's the first dr we've seen for my grade 4 gbm that actually consults with the entire family.
