Dr. Karen Louise Hasty, MD

This provider was rude and condescending, none of my concerns were addressed. I would not recommend this provider during pregnancy. I switched providers, I did not want to deliver with her, I did not feel comfortable at all.

During a very difficult family time Dr. Hasty has gone above and beyond to help our family heal from a loss. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic it wasn't going to be possible for my mother in law to go in for a doctors appointment. Dr. Hasty did a phone visit with her to get her the medication she needed. She didn't hesitate to pick up the phone and personally call her and took the time to talk to her. My mother in law thinks she is amazing and so do I. Thank you so much Dr. Hasty for being so generous with your time and concern. We will never forget how you helped us when we needed it the most.

I was not feeling well, and she suggested pellet injections to help me out. Within a couple of months, I experienced tremendous hair loss. I visited an endocrinologist to determine if my thyroid was out of wack. I went to a dermatologist and finally to my general doctor. I told them that Dr. Hasty had suggested hormones, and all three of them have told me to discontinue them. They have told me that it is only business, and that the hormones are of no value. I have lost confidence in her, and still now over six months after my last pellets, I have very think hair and having difficulty managing my few strands. I did visit with her. I asked her why I was not told of the side effects, and she said that her own mother took the shots and helped her. She said that her mother would not take them all the time. I have a cousin with breast cancer, and she tells me that the doctors in Houston have told her that it is an effect of the pellets that she took for two years. I am terribly… disappointed that a doctor that I trusted would do this. Also I was sold an expensive shampoo and conditioner for $160.00 to help me with hair growth.

Dr. Hasty and Kim her assistant are outstanding. The entire office is great. I never wait. They communicate, treat with me with respect and show empathy. My experience with Four Seasons OBGYN exceeds my expectations.

I went to Dr.hasty the first time bc a friend recommended me it was a great expierence. She was always so nice and attentive through out my pregnancy. When i went back after getting pregnant again she remembered me. She then became rude asking me why didnt i use protection and giggled surprised i was back there. During my visit she began asking my bf why he was there was he off today? What he do for work? Seriously I couldn't believe my eyes. Everything about that visit was horrible and rude i changed dr and im glad i did. I hope you woman that go back a second time dont have to expierence this. Very unproffesional you need to show some more respect.

Dr. Hasty is often more than 20 minutes late to an appointment then tries to rush you out in 10 minutes without an exam. This often leads to multiple visits for the same issue. No personal connection at all and tries to pass you off to the PA as much as possible.

Recommends very expensive places for tests. You need to check with her to get an idea of how much your insurance will cover before she does anything or you’ll pay the highest price

Of the few times we were there before we luckily changed doctors, we saw her maybe twice over my 26 week pregnancy until switching. The staff is so rude. I saw the sono tech and her PA more than her. You are rushed in and out. Zero bedside manner. That office pushes Botox more than just doing what they should do - Focusing on moms and babies.
