I recently transferred my son’s care to Dr. Keough at Child Neurology Consultants of Austin after a very difficult experience trying to navigate his new epilepsy diagnosis elsewhere, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice. From the moment we walked in, the difference in the level of care was immediately apparent. Dr. Keough was incredibly thorough, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She took the time to listen to every concern I had, answered all of my questions without making us feel rushed, and made sure I understood the plan moving forward. What impressed me just as much was her staff. They went above and beyond to help us—not only with insurance questions and scheduling, but also by assisting with referrals for my other son, who has separate neurological needs. It’s rare to find an office that is so willing to help with all of the “extras” that can make navigating complex medical care so overwhelming. As a parent of children with complex medical needs,… having a physician who truly listens and a team that genuinely cares has made all the difference. I finally feel supported, informed, and confident that my son is receiving the care he deserves. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Keough and Child Neurology Consultants of Austin to any family seeking pediatric neurological care. Keough desde Mayo 2008, a lo largo de estos 18 años ha ayudado a Emmanuel a controlar las convulsiones con diferentes medicamentos, cirugías cerebrales en 2008,2013,2016y 2024 y colocación de dispositivos (VNS 2017 Y RNS 2024) Dra. Dr Keough has been my son’s neurologist for almost 7 years. She has managed his epilepsy and has always offered support and insight into my son’s unique health condition. Very grateful for her knowledge and perspective—and her expertise. Her staff is fantastic too.

My son is a patient of Dr. Keough. She is very thorough during our appointment. I never feel rushed when we are discussing my son. Dr. Keough is very informative and shares information with me. I live in San Antonio but Dr. Keough is worth the drive when we go see her in person. Since covid we have done virtual appointments.

Very pleased with my experience at CNCA! We've seen a dozen neurologists over the past 9 years from Austin to San Antonio to Baltimore, due to the complexity of my child's needs. Out of all the specialists we've seen, Dr. Keough stands out as an exceptional physician who truly cares for her patients and takes the time to listen carefully and individualize care. Under her care, I feel empowered as a caretaker of a child with special needs; I feel supported; I feel confident about placing my child's care in her hands. Dr. Keough treats her patients with utmost care. My only regret is that it took us 9 years to find our way to her, but we are so thankful to now call her OUR doctor.
