Dr. Karen Maxine Mackler, MD

I went to Dr. Mackler because of a growth on my nose. She biopsied it and never called with results. I called the office several weeks later and was told it was malignant by office staff. I asked why I was never called and was told the doctor doesn't look at the results, which were sitting in an "in box" until the patient calls. I couldn't believe this response. Obviously would never go back.

Dr. Mackler is very kind, listens carefully and takes time. She put me at ease when I had to have a biopsy and later easily diagnosed a rare condition I have (fortunately benign). Her front desk staff can be brusque and her building is a bit rundown. However she is worth seeking out both for her professional expertise and warm manner.

Dr. Mackler's staff was professional. Making an appointment over the phone was easy. The doctor was prompt, listened to my medical concerns, and very helpful with a paperwork problem. She even called me back later that afternoon to make certain things were correctly done.
