Dr. Karen Molnar

I became a dietitian as a second career. After a layoff due to a reduction in work force in 2009, I decided it was time to make a change and pursue a career that I was passionate about. Ive always had an interest in health and nutrition, however, when faced with two chronic illnesses myself, I decided to pursue a career in dietetics to help patients achieve long-term health. I am a Certified Diabetes Educator as of May 2017. My philosophy is to meet my patients where they are currently and help them achieve their long-term nutrition goals. I believe in providing people with the necessary tools to make dietary and lifestyle changes to improve their health, providing support and encouragement every step of the way. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors jogging, cycling and hiking. I also enjoy movies and spending time with friends and family, especially my nieces and nephew.
