My experience with this doctor compelled me to leave a review. Something I have never felt the need to do. Unfortunately, this was the first time I have ever left a medical appointment feeling genuinely shocked and upset by the level of care and communication I received. I was referred by my primary care physician due to headaches related to TMJ and grinding, and I scheduled the visit, hoping to discuss Botox treatment. During the appointment, we were informed that this doctor does not offer Botox, which created an avoidable situation had that information been communicated beforehand, because what happened after was completely rude. What was most concerning was the manner in which the conversation was handled. Instead of simply clarifying the misunderstanding, the doctor stated that my mother and I must have misheard her assistant as her assistant told her that she did speak to us of this and then continued to speak in a dismissive, confrontational tone, interrupting us multiple times… saying variations of “no, you were told” while we tried to explain that we had never been informed that Botox was unavailable. There was no kindness or compassion in the way she spoke to us, which are core qualities a doctor needs. Her choice of words and communication are unacceptable, as she placed complete blame on us before I confronted her about this. The interaction felt unnecessarily accusatory instead of collaborative. Additionally, the staff member we spoke with on the phone beforehand came across as impatient and short. When we attempted to reschedule due to work and school conflicts, there was little willingness to communicate or accommodate. I understand that miscommunications can happen in any office, but patients should still be treated with professionalism and respect. I should not have had to spend my appointment addressing frustration about communication rather than discussing my medical concerns. I hope this office reevaluates how they communicate with patients so future visits are handled with greater empathy and clarity.

dr. wallace did a nerve test which involves minor electrical charges and some very small injections to the site that is being tested. she provides good information and clear instructions through out the testing . the injections are done with a very fine needle and do not hurt. the shocks are also very minor, and only make some mild tingling, but do not hurt. if you must have this type of test, I highly recommend dr. wallace to do it.
