Dr. Karen Lynn Palmer

Based on the other reviews, I have to wonder if I met Dr Palmer on an off day or if she just has a lot of young patients who don't need as much and think she's great. I saw her on high recommendation, but my experience was awful. My wait was short since no one else was there, which was the only plus. But the intake nurse had no idea what she was doing, kept stopping to question herself, then Palmer came in. She hadn't looked over my medical history at all, even though the office had had it for 4-5 weeks. She asked me to repeat everything already on the intake forms, asked if I was still "dealing with that (issue) stuff," which is a common lifelong health issue among that she seemed to have no knowledge of. From check in to check out, my entire appointment was 30 minutes. That's crazy for a new patient, especially when the office was EMPTY. It's not like appointments were running behind. I left feeling uncared for with no sense of what to do next. My favorite part was that I… specifically had told her which labs I needed (since she didn't read my health history) and she left them off the lab form. I've already booked a new primary for my next annual, even though it's months away, because I can't imagine going back to her.

My overall health has required me to have had many doctors. Dr. Karen Palmer has, by far, been the most thorough, compassionate, up to date docotr I am privileged to know. I am so lucky to have some one so incredibly wonderful taking such good care of my overall health.

After searching for a new Doctor, I found Dr. Karen Palmer. She listens to her patients, and takes her time with each and every one! Never had to wait for her, she is always prompt, and expects the same from her patients. I highly recommend her!!!

Dr. Karen Palmer is simply a very caring, very focused physician. Her genuine empathy for my general health reminds me of the family doctors I grew up with in the 1950s and 60s. IQ is one thing, EQ (Emotional Quotient) is another. Dr. Palmer is exemplar in both.

Easy to talk to, efficient, valued my time

I have seen Dr. Palmer for over 6 years now and I will not change. I have moved over 30mins away and still drive the distance for every appointment. I highly recommend her office.
