Dr. Karen Ayre Rasmussen, MD

Dr Rasmussen is wonderful. She takes time to listen to my concerns and is very caring and when needed has referred me to other specialist who were also very good. I have recommended her to several of my friends who have also been very happy with the care they receive.

Great doctor, but if you try to get ahold of her outside if an appointment, it will take multiple attempts. A month later and still nothing.

Great doctor terrible office staff. Very unorganized and very rude. They don’t answer the phone. It just rings and rings. I had to physically drive to their office to leave a messsage for the doctor. Their employees are rude and are not trained properly in hmo’s and ppo’s. So much wasted time with this office. I found a new doctor in the area. I wish Dr. Rasmussen would leave this practice.

I will be finding new DR. Office staff is rude incompetent and have no knowledge of how HMO work. They will tell you they are a PPO office like having an Hmo is beneath them. I was informed by office staff that I would need authorization for gyn appt. waited for ever and then found out I didn't need one. then office staff sends my medical info to a DR that doesn't take my insurance. I had to call healthnet to find dr myself. if you are PPO insurance you might be ok. but watch out if you have covered California or healthnet.
