Dr. Karen Turner, DO

Dr. Turner has beet my primary care doctor for 29 years. Need I say more? I cringe at the thought of her retiring. Sometimes you wait awhile to see her. It's because she is mindful of the patient and not the clock. Five stars are not enough!

Dr. Turner is the best Doctor I have ever had. She is attentive,listening and not dismissing the patent. We the patient do actually carry this body around with us 24/7....which means we are able to give great feedback to the Doctor. Then Dr. Turner is able to work thru the information given. Most in this profession want to dismiss you and not hear you! They want to get you in and out. This profession does not allow for that. Think you Dr. Turner for loving your job...it shows in the way you treat your patients!

We are truly grateful. Dr. Karen's Kindred Spirit towards my sister was humbling. Worked with other wonderful physicians, but Dr. Turner; just fits our family needs. She has that blessed touch ..

Dr Turner is incredibly knowable. Dealing with the front staff(check-in)can be very frustrating. She is rude and usually gives me the wrong instructions. She really doesn't seem to care.

My family have been patients for 34 years. When I went to her 4 years ago, she knew something was wrong and sent me to the very best specialist, who recognized what I had as cancer. If not for Dr. Turner's intuition that initial tests were incorrect, she would not have sent me to the right person. Dr. Turner absolutely saved my life! I would not see any other physician.

I went for my new patient appointment and I was very pleased with the staff and Dr. Turner! She gave me honest feedback and made me want to take better care of myself.

Dr. Karen takes time, and is concerned for each patient. Don't go for fast, assembly line care - go to this doctor only if you take time to be concerned for yourself. She has a wonderful nurse practitioner to fill in the spaces, for the fast stuff.

I have concerns about a staff that make medical decisions for Dr Turner. Since l joined Dr Turners practice as a patient in 2014 l was assured many times that she would receive my previous medical records and current medical tests at her office. I even offered to do it myself but was told she had access. I find my records are incomplete in her office, whereby her Medical Assistant, Ms Cary Minon refuses to renew my prescriptions that l have been taking since 2008 after my surgery. Lipitor and Plavix Ms Minon decided she could deny me because she wanted me to make a appointment for a test that l have done every 3 mos by the Doctor that's treating me for Cancer.

I think Dr. Karen Turner is a wonderful doctor. She is very kind, knowledgable and has excellent staff.
