Dr. Karen Naomi Whitehorn, MD

I was a patient of Dr Whitehorn for over 10 yrs. She always addressed my concerns about my health issues and worked with them to make me a healthier person. I hated to leave her, but I did relocate to another state. I have nothing but good things to say about her!!!

Dr. Whitehorn does not have a good bed side manner. She is mean and doesn't connect with the patient. Every time I had to see her my stomach would knot up.

Her and her nurse are the biggest liers I have ever come across. I knew I the first time I meet her that I had made a mistake by choosing her as my PCP but I couldn't change doctors for a year. She talks to you like you are a child or stupid. Anybody that gave her a good review doesn't know what a good doctor is!

I was impressed with the amount of respect Dr. Whitehorn seemed to have for my concerns, and for the opinions of other Healthcare professionals. She seems to be very professional, and objective. Her medical opinions are not based on preconceived notions. I appreciate unbiased medical observations.

The doctor's bedside manners need improvement. She appears to condensing and does not listen to patients speak about their concerns. Arrogant.

This doctor can be short during appointments.

Initially Dr Whitehorn seemed very standoffish. But after several visits we have warmed up to each other. It takes time for her to become friendly with her patients. She's a good, caring doctor once she opens up.

I have to agree.....she is very condescending and does not listen. She writes whatever she wants in your chart so be careful. She had me listed as an alcoholic and I rarely even drink. However, she ordered every test under the sun....never identified my issues. Her nurse is also very nasty. They are made for each other. Immature, Inexperienced and unapproachable. I wonder who wrote the good reviews.............

She pays exceptional attention to detail. She listens and pays attention not only to what you say, but to what you write on the intake form; and THAT in and of itself is worth more than gold. She also takes the time to actually talk to you. Gives recommendations and alternatives, in other words, she does not just dish out pharmaceutical drugs. She is a professional in every sense of the word. These are all things one should look for in a doctor. I was impressed and I am not easily impressed by anyone or anything.
