Karent Sierra, DDS
After graduating from Florida International University, Dr. Sierra attended dental school at Marquette University. She originally hails from New York, but was raised in Miami. After dental school, Dr. Sierra completed a one-year fellowship at University of Florida Hialeah Dental Clinic. She has since continued her dental training by attending the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. At LVI, Dr. Sierra studied advanced functional aesthetics, aesthetic reconstruction, and occlusion. She has a comprehensive understanding of how the entire oral system must work in harmony for optimal oral function, comfort, and integrity. Dr. Sierra subscribes to the philosophy that all dental work should be designed from a functional and aesthetic approach.
Since 1999, Sierra Dentistry has served Coral Gables and the greater Miami area with state-of-the-art dental care. As founder of the non-profit, Sharing …Smiles foundation, Dr. Sierra provides much-needed dental care to abused and homeless children in the local community. As the foundation grows, Dr. Sierra hopes people nationwide will take advantage of the foundation's services. 
Dr. Sierra’s mother works in the office, as well. Dr. Sierra is a member of the American and Florida Dental Associations. She also holds membership in the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana. When she isn’t studying the latest dental procedures or creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Sierra enjoys exercising, photography, and boating.
