A year ago my sister Christina was distraught ; no seemed to want to help an older patient . My brother-in-law Gary took my sister to Hackensack University Medical Center with serious problems . After one year and 3 surgeries with Dr. Kari Lindsey Colen my sister is miraculously whole again and our entire family could never thank her enough . Dr. Colen is an amazingly gifted surgeon who saw my sister many times to make sure that every step was perfectly executed .

I came to Dr. Colen after experiencing multiple complications with my breast expander surgeries. At first, I was hesitant to change doctors, but ultimately I felt I needed a new start, especially since two other doctors mentioned trying a major surgery that seemed too invasive to continue with my reconstruction process. I felt Dr. Colen understood me and agreed that I did not need more cuts and invasive procedures after all that I had already been through. We decided to proceed with an expander for the third time. Yes, minor complications came up, but the way she approached them helped me stay calm and positive. Every time I saw her during the expander filling period, she made me feel that, even though there were some issues, it was not a huge deal, and we continued forward. I felt supported, heard, and that I had a voice in the process since day one. Her nice and caring staff was a plus, especially her nurse Michele. What a difference from my two other previous experiences! Dr. Colen… knew not only what to do every time something would arise with my expander, but what to say in a confident manner and with no rush to finish up the appointment. Her patience and empathy helped ease my apprehension of going through surgery yet again. Needles to say, we succeeded. 100% knowledge, 100% bed manners. Best plastic surgeon ever!

I would recommend her to anyone. My results from surgery were great! I was extremely nervous but she made the process very easy and made me feel comfortable !

Dr. Colen and her staff are wonderful and compassionate. They took excellent care of me and they are always accessible to answer any questions. I highly recommend this practice and I am extremely happy with the results of my surgery.

I have struggled with hyperhidrosis for as long as I can remember. Dr. Colen injected Botox into both armpits and within 1 week I noticed significant results. She did a wonderful job explaining the procedure and putting me at ease. The office staff was incredibly welcoming. I will continue to return to this office for future treatment.

Amazing Doctor with an amazing staff. Went in for Breast augmentation and I love the work she did. Very fast recovery with little to no down time. I barely have a scar and they came out exactly how I wanted. Definitely recommend her!

Dr. Colen and her team of lovely nurses have not only been incredibly welcoming, but also very diligent in making sure the patients needs are met in every aspect. Before, during, and after surgery, I knew that I was in entirely phenomenal hands, under the care of a phenomenal team. I have seen the most incredible results, and have been beyond pleased with the entire experience.
