Love Dr. Kendra. I was terrified when I found out I had cancer so my wife set me an appointment with Dr. Kendra as she was already treating my son for the same thing. Dr. Kendra put me at ease and encouraged me to fight and not give up. She always has time to talk to me and make sure all my questions are answered. I would never think about seeing another Dr. She is truly a diamond in OSU’s cap.

Dr. Kendra treated my late father, George Shaffner. His prognosis was 6 months, after finding that his Melanoma had spread to his brain only. Dr. Kendra helped my father through all of the stages of his illness. He lived 4 years because of her treatment plan, which included immunotherapy, oral chemotherapy, radiation, and brain surgery. My father though the world of Dr. Kendra. Thanks for the 4 years.

Dr Kari Kendra is a superior medical oncologist, who is cognizant of how patients process information under the stress of first diagnosis. She is a superior teacher, both of patients and of her peers, to whom she gives lectures and reports research across the globe. She is meticulous and patient in presenting treatment options to patients, particularly the differences between clinical trials, and will spend as much time as needed with each patient and family, even if it takes more than one visit. She works with a highly-educated and caring staff, who are also extremely knowledgeable in their fields. They work as an amazing team.

Been seeing Dr. Kendra since 2006 for malignant melanoma. I have found her to be a kind, caring physician.

Dr. Kendra always takes a while to visit the exam room due to time needed to receive blood work results (taken just prior to her appointment).A good doctor isn't always easy to get in to see. She is well worth the wait
