Dr. Karie Teresa Mcmurray, MD

As always I look forward to seeing Dr. McMurray for my annual visit. However yesterday when I came I left being a little bit concerned about her. She seemed a little out of sorts and distracted and kind of down and I got kind of worried when I left and just thought I would send my good thoughts to her in case things for some reason aren’t going as well as they should for her at the moment. Hugs to her.

Dr. McMurray takes the necessary time to diagnose a problem and prepare a plan to fix things. She is an expert surgeon who is certified in robotics. She has been my doctor for 20 years. I have the utmost confidence in her experience and appreciate her caring manner and attention to communication and followup.

Dr. McMurray is the best. She really cares about your well being, physically and emotionally. You may have to wait a couple of weeks to get an appointment or wait 45 minutes when you have an appointment, but her expertise is worth the wait.

Excellent doctor.Im really happy to have dr Mcmurray as my gynecologist .She was really caring me, as I had a complicated pregnancy.other staffs are very courteous. My nurse was always Debby. She is such an amazing nurse..Any questions if Ihad related with my pregnancy , I could always call them and they promptly replied.No words to say.. This is just an amazing clinic with wonderful staffs..

I have been seeing Patti Glick, RNP who works with Karie McMurray for 14 years. Patti has been awesome and has been able to take care of all my needs. I recently needed to have a hysterectomy so I saw Dr. McMurray. She has a very kind and caring beside manner. She is also smart and gets to the point. When I wasn't feeling good after my surgery she saw me right away and spent a lot of time with me to find out what was going on. It turned out it was nothing to worry about, but she continued to check on me regularly until I was healed. I will continue to see her and/or Patti for all future appointments. Patti and Karie will never hesitate to give the best possible care to their patients. They really know their specialty. They are thorough, kind and caring. They always take the time for you because they care and I highly recommend them.

Dr. McMurray delivered my grandson 10 years ago. She was going on vacation so she induced his birth (only about a week early). Since he was due in a week or two she did not check to see if his lungs were mature. Only a week or two early should not have been any big deal. It is done all the time, right! He had a spontaneous pneumothorax (blew a hole through his lung), was transfered by ambulance from Thousand Oaks to UCLA and spent almost 30 days in the neonatal intensive care unit. He's 10 now. Has all kinds of learning disabilities and is embarrassed because he has to go to special ed. That feeling of being different also effects his social abilities. He is the 3rd child his parents had. The nurses at UCLA explained to us that often mothers of infants that are not expected to make it (and they had serious doubts about him) often don't bond well with that baby. It is a way for nature to protect their heart if the baby dies. His mother didn't bond well with him. Gee, I wonder how… different his life would be if the doctor had waited to deliver him until he was ready. We will never know. She never even called the family to check on him after he was born!

I love Dr. McMurray. She makes you feel comfortable, and I felt so safe in her hands. I knew she would take care of any problem I had with knowledge, grace and comfort. I have moved out of state, and miss her and her staff dearly.

i have been seeing dr. mcmurray for the past several years. she performs a very thorough exam and answers all my questions. she is kind and caring, she listens and understands. her staff has always been kind and professionsl.
